something weird on dhs phone

Last night dh went out for a drink with an old friend Mr H (who has never had a relationship in 45 years and still lives at home). Later on I picked up dhs phone to google something. Typed into google search box were the words "is my husband gay?". I asked dh what he had been googling that for and his first response was "I was wondering if Mr H was gay". I wasnt convinced and asked him why he had chosen the word "husband" in that case. His next response was "actually I was googling becasue I think you might be gay. We never have sex anymore etc etc etc..." . I was not particulalry convinced with this either, I am not gay and never have been. The words were "is my husband gay" not "is my wife gay". Why would he be searching that? It is just such an odd choice of words. Any ideas? I feel I dont know who the hell Im married to any more.

Well whatever the reason for the google, the elephant in the room needs to be openly discussed, and hopefully that will lead to other truths, whether good or bad.. the OP needs to know whats going on from the horses mouth, we could carry on trying to guess for ever.

Does anyone else use his phone at all? I don't have a fancy mobile so have been known to use a friend's when out, to google something, or to ask them to google it for me.

Might the secrecy be because he doesn't want you to know who's been using his phone?

It's the first thing that comes up on Google on my computer: I get as far as "Is my hu" and automatically it goes "Is my husband gay?"

If I type is my h, I get:

is my house haunted
is my husband gay
is my house south facing
is my house suitable for solar panels

Did your DH say exactly what he typed?

Was it actually typed into the search box, or did you begin to type something and then it popped up?

Because if I type 'is my h..' Google suggests 'is my husband gay?' for me too.

Just because Google has suggested it to you doesn't mean your husband previously typed it in. I've never typed it and it's suggesting it to me. It's a popular search, so Google preempts.

His reponse is definitely odd, but the find on the phone is most likely nothing.

I tried I get 3 facebook ones, then is my house haunted followed by is my husband gay. Is sad how many women must be typing that into google,for it to be that high.

I wonder if it's because we're all typing it into google?

Sarah said her dh had actually typed in 'is my husband gay' so he admitted to it. He then changed his story very fast to why he typed it in...from thinking his friend Mr H being gay to Sarah being gay....blaming her for poor sex life.

But as Sarah says dh would have typed in 'Is my wife gay' not 'Is my husband gay'?

Without this issue I found it very strange he doesn't want to make love to his wife? I hope it is something simpler ie overwelming parenthood...traumatic birth depression etc....which I know are bad also for the poor man and OP but as this would be much a less blow than what has gone through my mind.

The latter part of her thread shows to me more of an issue. If he is ie depressed he may think it is sexuality is an issue and not low mood due to no insight iygwim

Maybe DH was looking for reasons his DW (you), might suspect he is gay. DH is a liar
