"soz beef, forgot you were solid"

ChickensThinkYouCanGetStuffed · 28/12/2011 20:05

I'd ask for a translation, because it makes no sense to me.

scentednappyhag · 28/12/2011 20:05

I would probably wet myself giggling. What on earth does that even mean? Confused

I'd look at him with a Hmm and then wander off. He hates it when I wander off Xmas Grin

Winkly · 28/12/2011 20:15

I would wonder when I turned into a steak.

MissyMoo321 · 28/12/2011 20:21

well i he was going for 'chav' speak he used 'beef' in the completely wrong context Grin

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe2726 · 28/12/2011 20:24

I don't get it? Is he calling you a 'fat cow'? Shock

MigratingCoconutsInTheNewYear · 28/12/2011 20:25

hmmm.....Xmas Hmm

Avenged · 28/12/2011 20:26

I'd guess he was calling me fat or muscly due to the "forgot you were solid" remark. Other than that, I'd be wondering what drugs he's been taking because he doesn't normally talk like a busted washing machine.

thisisyesterday · 28/12/2011 20:28

well i googled it and it came up with a few references to "soz rock, forgot you were solid"

I don't get that either though

balia · 28/12/2011 20:29

I would dump him and then post on Facebook about how over it was because clearly I would be 15 and going out with a boy in my year?

NoddyHoldersWig · 28/12/2011 20:32

Well I didn't get it either went to toilet on mum's dishes

OP posts:
StealthPolarBear · 28/12/2011 20:33

???

ChickensThinkYouCanGetStuffed · 28/12/2011 20:34

You pissed on your mums dishes?

StickAForkInMeImDone · 28/12/2011 20:35

Confused who went to the toilet on mums dishes? was it your mums dishes or your OHs mums dishes?
I have written many strange things on MN but that sentence has to be the oddest.

MigratingCoconutsInTheNewYear · 28/12/2011 20:36

Xmas Grin at balia!

Grockle · 28/12/2011 20:37

Eh?

thisisyesterday · 28/12/2011 20:38

this isn't noddyholder is it?

StealthPolarBear · 28/12/2011 20:38

good point tiy, I was wondering what was going on.

thisisyesterday · 28/12/2011 20:38

that's a quote from "bad santa" apparently

LoveInASnowyClimate · 28/12/2011 20:39

WTAF? I would be very confused if DH said that to me, but not quite as confused as I would be if he then went to the loo on a dish (or was that the OP?). This makes no sense at all.

NoddyHoldersWig · 28/12/2011 20:40

I'm so sorry. Nothing to see here folks.

OP posts:
southeastastra · 28/12/2011 20:40

forgot you were solid - i would think meant he knows you're not one to do illegals Grin

thisisyesterday · 28/12/2011 20:40

ooh ahng on, now I have seen "noddyholderswig" posting over the last few days and presumed that it was "noddyholder" with a bit added on... but have just searched messages and it isn't cos NH only has one child doesn't she? and NHW apparently has 2

HairyNigel · 28/12/2011 20:40

I think it maybe means forgot you were really hard? Like a tough person iykwim?
