This morning DP pulled used condom out of the bin and said it wasn't the type he used and was more or less accusing me of shagging around.

If you can afford it- and even if you can't as they will accept donations sometimes- book yourselves into relate for couples' counselling.

This man has issues and you need help.

SarahStratton · 20/11/2011 17:33

I think we're talking about a kitchen bin here. One of those ones that has 2 removable bins? Ignoring the used condom bit for now, how the hell do you manage to not fill one of those bins within a week? Even the recycling side?

TheMonster · 20/11/2011 17:34

If a used condom can stay at the top of the recycling bin for two weeks, you are lucky it was your partner that found it and not one of your children.

Sparklingbrook · 20/11/2011 17:36

Perhaps a little pedal bin and liner for the bathroom would be better.

thunderboltsandlightning · 20/11/2011 17:39

If you think he did it on purpose you might be right. He could be gaslighting you, to make you doubt yourself. Read about it here:

LOL

malinkey · 20/11/2011 17:54

OP - how long have you been with him and has he always been controlling?

Anniegetyourgun · 20/11/2011 18:05

Oh God, it's XH again... how that man does get around.

(I won't tell you the condom story but this is the man who offered me a second-hand pregnancy testing kit because "you may need it".)

Sparklingbrook · 20/11/2011 18:06

What? Had someone else already pissed on the stick? Shock

Anniegetyourgun · 20/11/2011 18:08

Not quite that bad; it was one of those two-part packets and they'd only used the first stick.

Sparklingbrook · 20/11/2011 18:42

Phew. Although still WTF??

AnyFucker · 20/11/2011 21:49

your partner is a nob-end

corlan · 20/11/2011 22:31

You should tell him if he's that worried, maybe he should get the spunk DNA tested to prove it's not his.
