Anybody just happy?

Been reading all these awful stories in this thread about divorce (been through that too), abuse, partners who don't care or are not involved, affairs....

Just wanted to say that I am very happy! I am now 16 weeks +5 pregnant. My partners supports me very well (even when I was crying for three days, being utterly grumpy and depressed). He brings me the things I need from shopping, without me having to ask... makes me cups of tea....snuggles me a lot....takes time to listen to me.... we talk about our worries.......calms me down when I'm stressed......doesn't let me lift anything... We are in good balance with each other.

Any one as happy as I am? Blush

I am happy. My life is far from perfect but am mostly happy nowadays since I stopped depending on other people to make me happy. I like myself and I am happy with myself. Don't really stress over the little stuff anymore. Smile

Dutchie77 · 06/07/2011 15:04

well done girls! I am proud of you. Nice to hear that there are happy people in this world.

I'm extremely happy, ridiculously so in fact and for no apparent good reason.

I am a little frightened of saying it out loud because i feel as if everything could come tumbling down. Whenever Dh and i have counted our blessings something has always jumped up and bitten us on the arse.

GypsyMoth · 06/07/2011 15:11

God, yes. Very very happy!!!

twinmummy24 · 06/07/2011 15:16

i am incredibly happy, fantastic hubby who works so hard but looked after me like a trooper when i was really ill with food poisoning, he is a fantastic daddy who is adored by his girls, he is even letting me go away this weekend to stay with my sister, my first girly trip since we had the girls Grin will of been married 9 years in august and i still get really giggly when i see DH unexpectidly (sp?).
i count myself very lucky to be this happy.

TheFarSideOfFuck · 06/07/2011 15:16

Yes, I am happy with most of my relationships

The most important ones, that is (in descending order)

  1. with myself
  2. with my kids
  3. with my husband
worldgonecrazy · 06/07/2011 15:27

I am also happy. Having been in some crap relationships, I kow a good 'un when I have him, so I'm not letting him go, despite other women offering me money for him (seriously!).

loveulotslikejellytots · 06/07/2011 16:26

I'm happy. I am married to a fantastic man (One year anniversary soon!!), who works his cute little bum off to give us a good life. We've just moved house, i've got my promotion (and pay rise) and today I have finally sorted out our debt problems!! I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders today and I can finally breathe!! Large glass of Wine tonight I think!

Best of all, now we've moved house and I've sorted debt into manageable payments, we can think clearly (and sensibly) about TTC (wont be right away, make a start with the debt first, but it will be sooner than I was thinking). I've never wanted anything more in my life before and just a few days ago, even the idea of having a family seemed years away.

It makes me feel very grateful for what I have. I love being in this sort of mood!

I am madly and passionately in love with my boyfriend and I know he feels the same way about me.

I have a great relationship with my DD.

I'm about to be made redundant (and get a payout) but have another job lined up immediately thereafter.

Happy? I'm like a pig in shit :) :-)

pickgo · 06/07/2011 16:35

I'm happy!! Woohoo!
On my own with DC in my own house and time to do what I want. Woohoo!

elastamum · 06/07/2011 16:36

I am happy.

3 years ago I discovered my exH was having an affair and he left us. I had no job, no friends nearby, Alsong with the stress, I also felt crap as I was going through an early menopause. It was a really tough time.

Now have a job I love, DCs are doing well and a lovely new man in my life. Having been through the mill, I can honestly say I am now happier than I have been for years. Grin

steamedtreaclesponge · 06/07/2011 16:37

I'm very happy!

Not in a relationship but happy in myself and with my life.

Mumbrane · 06/07/2011 16:38

Well, my life is pretty stressful recently but I can honestly say my marriage is the one consistently happy, stable thing in my life. My DH is an absolute rock to me and a lovely human being.

TheAtomicBum · 06/07/2011 16:42

I'm happy in my relationship. We've had our ups and downs, but I don't think I couldn't find anyone better suited to me.

Proudnscary · 06/07/2011 16:42

I'm happy - though I have a mild to moderate hangover - thanks for asking.

elastamum · 06/07/2011 16:44

Sponge, is that you??

Ryma · 06/07/2011 16:53
