Any input welcome on this matter please ladies Smile

Is there a general rule of thumb as to how much one costs?

Is it always bought solely by the man?

Does the man have a gift too, ring, other piece of jewellrey ect?

I know a couple whose rings were 30 quid from Argos - by very mutual agreement - and they've been married 14 years this summer :)

Ten years ago.
Engagement ring was £80 from H samuel
Wedding ring was £50 from Argos
I sometimes look at rings but I really like the ones I have.

I'm with Soopermum. We too bought a washing machine instead of an engagement ring. We have now been married nearly 20 years. We are planning to buy rings for our silver wedding anniversary.
