Persona - Does Any body use this method??

Hi, me & my dh are thinking of giving persona a try, as anyone got any tips or advice about it or is there anyone currently using it??

The post that resurrected this 8 year old thread by MrsHappy is written in a style that sounds like marketing to me. Reported to MN to check it out.

I used this back in the day and found it fantastic. But basically persona messed up in their marketing by calling it a contraceptive; it's not, it's an ovulation/safe days predictor, and in that function, I found it v good. My periods were always irregular, so I got lots of yellow and red days and I was very very careful about those days. I never got pregnant after using Persona on a green day, but have actually fallen pregnant accidentally twice when not using persona, despite using actual contraceptives those times!

So speaking as someonve v fertile, I would give Persona very positive feedback... only if you use it as an ovulation guideline though.

Ii is however officially 94 for reliability. I've no idea what data the PP used to discover a 1 in 16 rate. If there is reliability data that was withheld, then it's a serious misrepresentation.

For 94 mean that if 100 couples used it for a year, 6 of them would have PG started in that year.

I've used it. It seemed fine when my cycle was regular but any iregularity and it'll err on the side of caution and be red for most of the month. I think i'd probably just prefer to chart well instead.
