Not really sure where to post this but here goes.

It will seem really petty but has become quite an issue. Basically it's about which way round to hang the loo roll. I say it should have the end coming up and over the top but (D)H maintains it should hang down the back.

Which is the right way (if any)?

Over the top is the only sensible and normal way!

My advice? Either remove the toilet roll holder altogether or have 2 that way you get yours the correct way of over the top, and your (clearly in the wrong DH) gets his the wrong way but his way.

I actually saw this on an episode of Dr Phil and he said there are bigger things to worry about and gave them a double toilet roll holder.

Oh, it HAS to come over the top. The other way is terribly, terribly WRONG.

OP, My DH and you would get along as he is the only person I know who really, really cares about loo roll etiquette. You are all quite mad IMO
