OK, I'm biting the bullet. Inspired by the "lovely little things" thread, I'm starting on my List. Contributions & comments welcome!

Oo, have you seen that film with Sandra Bullock in it about two sisters who were witches? Yes, it's a bit corny but as a child the Sandra Bullock character writes a list like this even down to some odd detail like he must have each eye a different colour. Of course he turns up at the end.

My list, all opposite to soon to be ex-H (and for a non-specified date some time in the future when I am no longer a doormat have sorted myself out):

Easy going/tolerant/patient
Able to laugh at himself
Kind
Clever
Caring
Giving in bed/interested in sex
Tall
Attractive
Loves animals
Good with children
Interested in talking and likes animated discussions but can cope with and admit to being wrong
Interested in me
Doesn't make loud slurping noises when eating!

That's just for starters, will think on this some more.

I keep wondering whether to pimp my brother out on MN - he is tall, attractive, good with children and animals and a good talker, and interested in everything. He's a useless cook though. :o

Right here goes.

1. Is kind to children and animals.
2. Isn't either a sissy or a bully.
3. Is emotionally intelligent.
4. Has his own money, not necessarily rich but can budget properly.
5. Doesn't smoke weed, especially skunk.
6. Preferably an assessor on a ClinpsyD course
7. Good looking, but not in an obvious way.
8. Not posh, has to be a bit streetwise, otherwise I can't take him to raves or hip hop battles.
9. Donates to charity.

10. No racism, homophobia or Islamophobia. 11. No classism. 12. Dark hair and skin, if white then dark skinned white. 13. Tattoos (not MUM though). 14. If a Dad, he's a good one. And his children are nice.

Someone who can be happy on an hours sleep

I'm finally in a position to make up a list and then refer to it at every date for any potential future suitors :)

Anyway, here goes:

Likes to read (don't care if it's via audiobook, kindle, paperback) whatever, just must like to read.

And retain information from read material and happy to discuss/debate with me.

MUST WORSHIP CATS. Note, I'm not putting would be good if he liked cats. No, MUST WORSHIP.

Likes to listen to musci

Doesn't mind the occasional cinema trip

Isn't mortally afraid of restaurants and other public eateries.

Likes to have proper back and forth conversations

Cares about what I think

Likes to plan fun things and other more boring things such as financial future etc.

Does not take drugs of any kind (i.e cannabis, cocaine, etc)

Doesn't love computer games and consoles more than real life

Dear me, my list is a foot long already and I haven't even started on the looks :)

Not too fussed with the looks tbh, not like I'm a model type either. Own hair and teeth would be great and not morbidly obese is all I can think of right now :)
