Any truth in Horoscope compatibility???

Sorry not really sure where to put this, but can't find a Horoscope thread!!

I am admittedly a bit of a paradox...as although I claim not to believe in horoscope traits, I do have some belief and just wondered are they really true??

More specifically, is anyone in a successful relationship with someone who is supposed to be their opposite..and therefore should have crashed and burned a long time ago??

I could never be in a relationship with someone who beleives in horoscopes, if that counts.

Hi - I don't really believe in it, tho I read my horoscopes anyway. DH is a virgo and I am an aquarius. Apparently we should be totally incompatible, but we still get on very well after yeeeeeeeears together Smile.

IGA Grin...or a N????...help me here someone, I'm laughing at myself...but as I see red flags all over most men (ut's me I know!!!)..have now reached the stage..where my date, although appears very nice..is the opposite sign....I'm really talking myself out of this date arn't I??? Smile

suspect I may need to see a councillor rather than read horoscopes!! [hmmm]

If it's any use as a Gemini I am supposed to be a good match to Leos and Aquarians....

Leo ex beat me so that didnt last.
Aquarian ex - didn't work out although sex was very good between us
Leo ex #2 - cheated on me twice so that didn't work out
Aquarian ex #2 - fantastic as friends but not much more, now separated from him.

Am now with a Capricorn and although it can be fiery at times it's good :)

In summation - tis all tosh!

Having said that, I think most horoscope-casters are good rough and ready psychologists, so if you want to be told that the relationship could work well for you, I'm sure they would happily do that.

Hell, I will happily tell you that there may be some challenges in a f/Capricorn, m/Aries pairing, and at times you will wonder whether you are in the right relationship, but that if you are both loving and giving towards each other, there's every chance that you will share wonderful experiences together.

You can't see anything just from the sun sign, in order to get any kind of insight, you'd need to make both charts really.

am aquarian myself. leos mysogynistic, gemini 2 faced, scorpio jealous.
my sign says i get on with aquarians, pisces, gemini, leo and libra...

hmmmm the only one i find i get on with is libra and gemini

I'd never heard of us Geminians being particularly compatible with Leos and Pisceans but I get on like a house on fire with Aquarians and Librans.
My worst relationships have tended to be with Taureans Hmm

I prefer looking at the Chinese signs. I am a dragon. My exH was a snake. He fitted the descriptions of his sign (as I do mine) to a tee....including liking ornaments, and being unfaithful! Grin

I'm Leo, DH is Cancer. We shouldn't get along but we do.

XH is Aries, which should have been a good match. But he is now XH for a variety of reasons.

I must admit when I was a lot younger I used to love all this stuff. I must admit also, it's a question I still like to ask (now that I'm 'more mature'Hmm I tend to ask when their birthday is rather than what's your star sign). Can't help it. But it's all just fun really. I also seem to remember (these days) a persons star sign better than their name...perhaps I am a secret believer Blush

If we are talking marriage or a serious commitment then Indian Vedic astrology is usually accurate in determining accuracy.

As for Sidereal and/or Tropical Astrology (the ones used to compose Horoscopes), I personally use them as a very rough guide. For example, if I was someone who really is not interested in sex then I would not date a Scorpio as they are the most sexual sign. If I was very independent, then I know I would clash with a Capricorn as they are quite possessive.

DS and DD are both Leos. Oh. My. God. The competition for the limelight is very wearing.

Every description of the supposed traits of a Gemini fit me to a T.

DH is Pisces and says it's all a complete load of bollocks. He and I get on fine. Usually.
