He may have some feelings for his ex but not still be in love with her. He would be a strange person to have been married for years and feel nothing for his ex even if it is just a fondness for some good memories.
I'm not surprised he doesn't want to talk about her and he probably feels quite uncomfortable about you being friends with her. When you say he never wants to talk about her it implies you have asked him a number of time. If he tells you he is over her then you need to either accept this and let it drop or end the relationship if you cannot trust his answer.
You have the right to be friends with anyone you like but if this relationship is important to you it may be worth losing touch with her or at least agreeing not to discuss her with your OH.
Hope it works out for you

Ah, another personal attack.

Obviously I've hit a nerve. Shame you haven't.

I'll let you rant by yourself now, dear. I suspect you're used to that.

SolidGoldBrass · 18/08/2010 23:23

I think the auditions for Jeremy Kyle are over there somewhere. Make sure you get there early to get the best sandwiches.

ha ha ha, shiny that was the most non-sensical argument i have seen in a long time. someone was a bit over sensitive me thinks.

Anniegetyourgun · 19/08/2010 11:53

"What in my post points to me being a bad person?"

Nothing particularly, up to that point, but pretty much everything she said from then on.

Shiney and JuJusDad, you make a superb double act Smile Sorry I missed it last night as I'd have loved to see the deleted posts.
