Honestly, what a bigot. And she calls herself a Christian! I just hope Mr & Mrs Vicar give her what for.

I was fuming listening to her last night. Do you really think there are people out there who think like she does?

MaryAnnSingleton · 21/01/2009 15:11

oh bum, I really wanted to listen and forgot to...

ThingOne · 21/01/2009 15:15

It was a right corker, wasn't it . Such a Christian approach.

she's thick

chocolatedot · 21/01/2009 15:23

Am genuinely curious as to whether any church goer's would defend her position.

bundle · 21/01/2009 15:25

not me

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 21/01/2009 15:33

Even Peggy's not bothered, and she got into a huff over women vicars. Or rather, Peggy's finally realised that there are more important things in life to worry about.

The narrow-minded...madam! I kept shouting at the radio.

CatIsSleepy · 21/01/2009 15:50

ooh what did she do? firebomb the vicarage??
in case i miss the omnibus...

Sniggerdoon · 21/01/2009 15:51

St Stephen's has been stolen from her, apparently, all because of Usha's taste in ornaments.

Sniggerdoon · 21/01/2009 15:53

never miss it again

I listen to it on my way home from work every day at two - this week they're following up with the serialisation of Owen Meany.

---> that's me, that is.

MaryAnnSingleton · 21/01/2009 16:01

have just listened - arggghh ! she is so slapworthy

TsarChasm · 21/01/2009 16:08

Isn't she ANNOYING?!!!?

All those pauses when anyone asks if she's ok and the pained deep sighing 'I don't feel I belong at St Stephens anymore....' Aaaargh!

Come on Usha..slap 'er with your running shoe.

Sniggerdoon · 21/01/2009 16:13

Mind you, I'm not so much annoyed with her, as I am concerned about those Gloucester Old-Spots.

retiredgoth2 · 21/01/2009 16:14

....dunno about Shula.

However I would pay good money not to have to listen to the Eroica symphony on the f*ing handbells ever again.

TsarChasm · 21/01/2009 16:16

Those pigs give me sleepless nights too..

(great name btw Sniggerdoon)

ThingOne · 21/01/2009 16:35

I'm a churchgoer and I certainly wouldn't defend her. Repugnant views. And let's face it, the reason she and Usha don't get on is because she was shagging Usha's boyfriend behind her back while going out with Alistair. So she's not really in the place to spout moral certainties, is she? Bigot.

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 21/01/2009 17:34

TO How COULD you? Next you'll be telling me that Father Christmas isn't real.

OP posts:
ThingOne · 22/01/2009 09:04

Of course FC is real. I have the mince pies crumbs to prove it.

fishie · 22/01/2009 09:21

oh and the marmalade i really wanted phil n dave to stuff jill's silly smug head into the bin.

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 22/01/2009 09:40

Kenton is, and shall ever be, my favourite.

OP posts:
chocolatedot · 22/01/2009 11:46

The marmalade - gah! How can they seriously expect people to listen to such nonsense let alone care about it

ThingOne · 22/01/2009 14:10

Oh I hate the marmeladey type stuff. So dull, so predictable.

zanz1bar · 22/01/2009 19:15

i have a dream about marmalade, shula and a horrific kitchen accident !
