Thanks to all for the dog ideas, and special mention to Ppeatfruit.

Chris has already told Susan - that's why she made the "under the circumstances" comment to Froof Grin

Gruach · 16/05/2018 19:52

OMG - I missed that!Shock

Peartree17 · 16/05/2018 19:54

oh me too! i thought it was generalised about The Situation. arrf!

BoreOfWhabylon · 16/05/2018 19:54

I just Listened Again Gruach - I didn't put two and two together first time either.

BoreOfWhabylon · 16/05/2018 19:56

Is it hunting season still? Will Smugs and Lascivia be giving each other the evils over the stirrup cup?

Tally ho!

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 16/05/2018 20:15

Grin Grin Grin

OrchidInTheSun · 16/05/2018 20:21

Oh good on Alistair. I can't wait until Smugula complains to someone. Hopefully Jill. She has a good range of tart tones.

TigerTeatimes · 16/05/2018 20:30

Well spotted Bore I totally missed that too.

Enjoyed that thoroughly, except for the bits where he said he regretted it and he felt guilty. He should have remained a bit more aloof. Wink

BikingBeatrix · 16/05/2018 20:40

That was great. Grin

LillianGish · 16/05/2018 21:16

Another great episode.

LassWiADelicateAir · 16/05/2018 21:58

The delicious thing is that when Smugs moans to everyone about Alistair's unreasonable behaviour, they're all going to be like

"But Shula, what did you expect?"

As we all were! Great episode.

Welshwabbit · 16/05/2018 21:59

I don't think I've enjoyed an episode that much for quite some time.

ADarkandStormyKnight · 16/05/2018 22:12

And with a member of the hunt! Shock

I suppose Shula thought had exclusive zipping rights over Alistair's trews until she was suited.

R4 · 16/05/2018 22:12

At long last, the worm turned!
How dare Shula claim to be humiliated after the way that she has treated Alistair.

ADarkandStormyKnight · 16/05/2018 22:17

Alistair could have been Caroline's, back in the day. I remember Caroline saying she would have jumped on him 'baying'.

I think the trouble with Shula is that the moment she's got something she thinks it not worth having. Massive self-esteem issues.

R4 · 16/05/2018 22:21

I've looked on Lowfield. Shula announced that the marriage was over on 14.03.18 so I don't see how she can, two adamant months down the line, be that upset that Alistair took her at her word.

C8H10N4O2 · 16/05/2018 22:36

And with a member of the hunt! shock

That was particularly funny Grin

I suppose Shula thought had exclusive zipping rights over Alistair's trews until she was suited.

Yes its as if she was writing some tragic chicklit where he was left pining for her whilst she buggered off to Eat, Fart, Shag or whatever the book is.

C8H10N4O2 · 16/05/2018 22:38

I got the distinct impression that Shula would have been happier if it had been gambling.

It comes to something when Eddie is the only member of the Grundy family talking sense.

Minimammoth · 16/05/2018 22:44

Grin Eat Fart Shag.

ANutAsBigAsABoulder · 17/05/2018 06:33

So Alistair is meant to take the announcement of the end of their marriage on the chin and live like a monk under St Shula’s watchful eye for however long she sees fit? She’s on another planet.

LillianGish · 17/05/2018 07:04

I got the distinct impression that Shula would have been happier if it had been gambling. Yes. I don't think it had even crossed her mind that Alistair might be interested in other women.

FrabjousDay · 17/05/2018 07:17

I haven't listened yet - have A & L actually dtd?

ADarkandStormyKnight · 17/05/2018 08:09

Yes. Alistair did the walk of shame seen by Christopher Carter no less.

ppeatfruit · 17/05/2018 09:22

Brillliant!! I've just Caught Up. WTF was Shula doing wandering around Amb. looking for Al anyway? If they've split their bank accounts he can gamble his own money can't he.? He's not 13.

But shagging naughty Lavvie is much better, Serve Shules right!

LillianGish · 17/05/2018 09:24

I was only sorry to hear that Alistair had regretted it.
