Nope the goat in the pic was not a pygmy ADark normal sized on the woman's back (she was in crawl on knees position) though Ive done normal yoga and don't remember that one, even without the goat!! (she was making a bridge !!!! ) good one Dad Strange person.

Umm my SIL still bitches about DH and she's a lot older than Pip. To be fair she does try to stop herself but it's a habit.

Families do often cast children in certain roles and act as if they still behave like that.

Reminds myself to stop moaning about my brother

Last week l had a text from bro saying he’d be phoning me that evening. My knee jerk reaction was to wonder what he’d be moaning at me about this time. In fact he was remarkably supportive - it reminded me (again!) that we can have an adult one-to-one relationship, that events in our lives are no longer filtered through a third party as our parents died ages ago (and they were at times utterly bat shit in the way they interpreted our lives).

The thing is, Pip's bitching about Josh is always aimed at painting a picture of him as workshy, incompetent etc whereas actually he seems to work very hard and, incident with the lost vehicle apart, seems to be pretty good at what he does. And Pip's track record for expensive mistakes is a hell of a lot worse than his. Possibly it's because she so basks in the image her parents have of her as infallible paragon, but knows deep down it's not merited and is constantly insecure about being displaced as favourite child.
