Hah!
In your face Rob!
Does Adam know something about Miles that we don't?

Vango · 03/01/2017 19:10

At long last Shalli! Can't believe Adam's held his tongue so long 😁. Good for him. Rob isn't going to scare him. September's a long way off. Adam's got nothing to fear.

Vango · 03/01/2017 19:14

Massively warming to Roy tonight. Bless him.

Vango · 03/01/2017 19:16

Ha ha ha ha ha! Love the Buttons too.

RamsayBoltonsConscience · 03/01/2017 19:17

Ooh what did they write? My guess is:

'Rob Titchener is an abusive wanker' although I'm not sure the Button girls could spell that...(they'd get the swearing right obvs). Any other guesses?

oldfatandtired1 · 03/01/2017 19:21

How about 'Rob is a rapist?'

Girlwhowearsglasses · 03/01/2017 19:27

Can someone remind me if we were told who gave Henry the personalised book with his name in (or was it Jack) for Christmas - they made a big fuss about it - was it from Rob?

Gruach · 03/01/2017 19:28

That was a very satisfying episode.

Definite BOOP.

enochroot · 03/01/2017 19:34

Lily's being voiced by Freddie!
Do I detect a little of Nigel's charm in Freddie?

Shallishanti · 03/01/2017 19:35

could it have been the sab?
'Rob Titchener perverts the course of justice'

PseudoBadger · 03/01/2017 19:36

Kathy gave Jack a personalised book Girlwhowears

I didn't comment at all last week but I wanted to say that I'm really sad that we are going down the 'Kirsty is pregnant' road. I can't put my finger on exactly why, but I think it's that I'd have preferred the two of them to have found a way back to one another more slowly instead of finding themselves connected for life unintentionally.

Already she's feeling under pressure.

R4 · 03/01/2017 19:38

Adam should have done better than that. He should have said that Home Farm always had the contract but it was given to RB (?RJ) by the last manager. BL saw the error of their ways and re-instated HF ... and we all know what happened to the last manager. It would make BL look incompetent by changing contractors again - does Rob really want to recommend that to Justin?

R4 · 03/01/2017 19:41

And why is the contract vulnerable in September? Brine would have insisted on a 5-year contact. Or is Brine really losing his touch (not just over the extra acreage)?

Vango · 03/01/2017 19:49

When did they get the contract back? 2015?

My guess is that Rob was bluffing in an effort to get away from Adam's jibes. Brian may yet confirm that there's nothing BL can do for now. I'm sure Adam would have continued to taunt him if Rob hadn't halted the conversation like that.

Minimammoth · 03/01/2017 19:49

Marking place. Than you Pseudo for coming up with interesting thread titles.

Vango · 03/01/2017 19:59

I think we were hearing Pat's inner heartbreak Francis. She's afraid to let Helen go again.

LowDudgeon · 03/01/2017 20:29

I'd have preferred the two of them to have found a way back to one another more slowly instead of finding themselves connected for life unintentionally

I don't think they will get back together. I don't think Kirsty wants to (& good for her!) - they'll be another compare-and-contrast, of how divided parents can rear a child together successfully, unlike Helen & Rob.

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 03/01/2017 20:29

In order:

BOOP for Adam
BOOP for Roy
BOOP for Kirsty
and
BOOP BOOP for The Button Girls!

EsmesBees · 03/01/2017 20:36

At least Tom being too intense and thinking he knows best is in character. He was the same about insisting they built the cottage at Bridge Farm during the wedding storyline.

Vango · 03/01/2017 20:44

I hear what you're saying Low but I think Tom's ready to commit and will think that the baby will seal the deal. Kirsty's understandable reluctance won't make sense to him and won't stop him trying. If it turns out that she does somehow manage to resist, I can't see him ever being happy with the possibility of a stepdad further down the line.

Vango · 03/01/2017 20:45

That's what scared Brenda off Esmes wasn't it?

redshoeblueshoe · 03/01/2017 20:47

I think Kirsty deliberately waited until she knew exactly what she wanted to do before telling Tom.
Tom on the other hand -thinks he knows what is best for her. I honestly thought he was going to kick Johnny out tonight
