What's irritating as well is that Lillian won't go to Justin and say "I left my scarf at your house and Rob took it for no reason than to stick his nose into our business. He's now insinuating all sorts of stuff. You may have your reasons for employing him, but tell him to wind his neck in darling before this gets out of hand"

Oh no. Somehow she feels that she is at fault more than Justin. So we're going to have to put up with her on eggshells until Rob makes his dastardly plan clear. FFS.

ThatsNotMyToddler · 24/11/2016 18:45

No reason other than

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 24/11/2016 18:58

So Lilian's walking on the eggshells after getting her face spattered with the egg and Justin may or may not see the yolk?

I'll get my coat...

God pips laugh is awful. I really hope the actress gets her big break in Hollywood so they have to re cast

TheAntiBoop · 24/11/2016 19:08

Did pip and Adam just do a flashback to when they were toddlers?

ColdTeaAgain · 24/11/2016 19:10

Just talk to Justin!! Have we lost Patbot and gained Lilbot? Hmm

VictoriaMcdade · 24/11/2016 19:12

Tobee is a crusty juggler!

TheAntiBoop · 24/11/2016 19:12

There's something in the water that makes the women in the village wibble and inert.

Stickerrocks · 24/11/2016 19:14

Blimey, Tony is talking sense.

TheAntiBoop · 24/11/2016 19:15

Do you mean a cunty juggler?

Putthetulipsthere · 24/11/2016 19:15

Definite BOOP for Tony! Bit disappointed that Lilian crumbled like that though

Cromwell1536 · 24/11/2016 19:21

They used the hankerchief plot device years ago, when Debbie discovered Brian's affair and baby with Siobhan.

EsmesBees · 24/11/2016 19:23

Adam sounds more upset at the prospect of loosing his herbal lets than he did at the prospect of loosing Ian.

EsmesBees · 24/11/2016 19:24

Herbal leys, even

Cromwell1536 · 24/11/2016 19:25

Well, Tony laid it out for Fag Ash there, didn't he? 'Taking up with the man who is employing the man who raped and abused Helen?...I don't know what you see in him, is it the money, is it the power?" Oh, get off your fucking knees Lil! And stop bloody crying, you wimp!

AnnieNoMouse · 24/11/2016 19:29

I don't understand why Rob is causing trouble for his own boss. Lillian is single and has relatively little to lose from the affair being divulged, but Justin won't want his wife to find out and will take a dim view of his employee (R not L) being indiscreet.
Is this another example of Rob unravelling?

TheAntiBoop · 24/11/2016 19:37

As a pp said, rob will make out its Lillian gossiping

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 24/11/2016 19:38

Big BOOP for Tony. I hope he has a cunning plan...

BertrandRussell · 24/11/2016 19:39

Rob will tell Justin that Lillian has told everyon in the village about their affair. He will dump her and take the credit card back.

Rob is conducting a one man campaign against the Archer family.

buckingfrolicks · 24/11/2016 19:39

I think this is when Pip (who I quite like, I'm sorry!) realises that Toby is a complete and utter self-interested pillock.

TheAntiBoop · 24/11/2016 19:40

It's a three way win for rob

First he gets revenge on Lillian over the flat thing
Second he drives a wedge between her and Tony
And most importantly, if he can split them up he no longer has an enemy at the shoulder of his boss

Gumpendorf · 24/11/2016 19:53

Still one of the best SL for me. I have fond memories of listening to that episode on a small portable radio while going through Gatwick airport. No radio iPlayer or podcasts then.

BOOP for Lynda and Robert these days. The Ambridge grown ups.

officerhinrika · 24/11/2016 20:13

Adam sounded quite ridiculous this evening, a right fit of the amateur dramatics. Not exactly a professional way to tell Pip she has to find a new home for her cattle. I can't remember if they had anything in writing, but as this is the Archers probably not. They are the most trusting bunch of farmers I've ever come across

enochroot · 24/11/2016 20:16

BOOP for Tony resolving not to let Rob win this one. I hope he has a cunning plan and I hope this pushes Helen into prosecuting because Rob's not going to stop trying to cause havoc to her family unless he is banged to rights.

ColdTeaAgain · 24/11/2016 21:05

But if Lillian just tells Justin the situation asap she then has the upper hand surely? It's just not making sense to me! Even if Rob tries to tell Justin that Tony already knew (even though he didn't) Lillian can just say Rob is trying to divide their family in whatever way he can and she had to confide in Tony. She needs to speak to Justin before Rob gets the chance to pour poison in his ears. Then if Justin still believes Rob over her then she is well fucking rid of him!
