Sorry for the poor title - the end of the last thread has arrived sooner than I thought and I haven't had the benefit of hearing all of the last 2 nights....

Ferrets can't be used to give people rides in pony traps, Dr, as has featured several times - not even a whole team of them. I think Joes ferrets currently include Hercules and Delilah.

ppeatfruit · 18/10/2016 17:42

I like these flights of fancy; Bartley Grundy the half donkey half ferret with pony aspirations Grin

Bartleby is Melville, not Dickens.
The scrivener who said, "I would prefer not to."

re-lurking now

GrumpyOldBag · 18/10/2016 18:43

I had been assuming Bartleby was a dog. Good to be corrected!

spiker · 18/10/2016 19:05

I'm sure that's a new Alastair...

TheAntiBoop · 18/10/2016 19:05

Pips delivery is soooo bad. 'Why is Rex being so naaaaarsty?'

She goes from made in Chelsea to her idea of 'farmer' erratically

CA obviously not a fairbrethren fan!!

It's like pip has never cooked for herself? Does she eat at Brookfield every night?

Is Alastair going to take the cash and do a runner!!

EsmesBees · 18/10/2016 19:12

Good on you Jill. Time someone told Pip what's what.

Stickerrocks · 18/10/2016 19:14

Oh dear, this isn't going to end well, Jill.

TheAntiBoop · 18/10/2016 19:14

And what the hell has happened to jills delivery? She's a quivering wreck

God this is a load of old tosh isn't it? How pathetic are that family!

I hate to say it but Jill needs to get a grip. That was uncalled for.

Shallishanti · 18/10/2016 19:15

steady on Pip

TheAntiBoop · 18/10/2016 19:15

Groan

We really need some rabid chickens to peck Toby to death. ASAP.

I was just looking forward to the juicy Fairbrother facts. No doubt some made up tosh that no one ever knew till now.

Gherkinsmummy · 18/10/2016 19:18

I knew it! Jill pushed Pip into doing something stupid. They will both regret it. Pip is annoying but Jill was pretty horrendous then as well

TheAntiBoop · 18/10/2016 19:18

Tbf Jill is right that she needs to stand on her own two feet. She's been spoilt way too long.

Think pip was pissed off that someone would dare to disagree with her!

Gherkinsmummy · 18/10/2016 19:22

She does, but there were two separate arguments going on. Pip does need to stand on her own two feet but Jill was being venomous not because of the cake but because the cake was for Toby

ColdTeaAgain · 18/10/2016 19:22

I always thought Bartley was a donkey too EBear, am sure I have memory of him being used in a nativity at the church or something!

Jill is being ridiculous. But with rifts growing left right and centre, perhaps with a bit of luck, Pip and Toby will run off together!

Minimammoth · 18/10/2016 19:23

Pip should be thankful that she has her own cottage, which I guess is a work perk.
