Sorry for the poor title - the end of the last thread has arrived sooner than I thought and I haven't had the benefit of hearing all of the last 2 nights....

Hayley could come back to run it

Minimammoth · 11/10/2016 19:57

Yes Alice definitely.

KingscoteStaff · 11/10/2016 21:27

'Ambridge passed Peak-Elf a long time ago.'

This must be a Keri Davies week.

ZuleikaDobson · 11/10/2016 22:27

Writer this week is Adrian Flynn. But maybe Keri threw that one in at scriptwriters' meeting.

Imbroglio · 11/10/2016 22:32

Ian goes to Edinburgh. Justin sacks Rob (hopefully circumstances which involve maximum humiliation for Rob). Recalls Charlie (...). Meanwhile fabulous new chef arrives at GG and provides new love interest for...?

selsigfach · 11/10/2016 23:55

There's no chance of Alice being pregnant, she might actually have to have some form of contact with her husband for that. or her new boss

ppeatfruit · 12/10/2016 08:46

Sorry AntiBoop but that just isn't right about the BF Archers, they love Jill and she WANTED to return to BF, and enjoys looking after them, they didn't make her.

TheAntiBoop · 12/10/2016 09:29

They didn't make her but they totally take her for granted. Other than David going all mummy's boy I don't think any of them are loving towards her

Jill has a martyr complex but I don't think it's right the way they leave her to do everything. Which they do because when she wasn't there they had to draft Ben in to be unpaid skivvy

trevortrevorslatterfry · 12/10/2016 10:03

Peak elf - love it.

A big BOOP for Ian though. I like the character and will be sad to see him go but I am so pleased it looks like he has the self respect to leave His dirty cheating husband.

LikeDylanInTheMovies · 12/10/2016 11:56

I thought Kate in a very roundabout way had a point, neither Brian and Jennifer haven't provided the best models of sexual continence, both have had multiple affairs over the years and both Adam and Kate have seen the marriage to endure, mostly due to their mother's tendency to look the other way when it came to Brian's peccadilloes. I can see that for Adam, Ian threatening divorce over a bit of slap and tickle would be surprising.

ErrolTheDragon · 12/10/2016 13:02

The word 'peccadillo' always summons up an image of a cross between a peccary and an armadillo. Brine has quite a herd of them.

ppeatfruit · 12/10/2016 13:06

I agree LikeDylan Grin

TopazRocks · 12/10/2016 13:30

Fingers crossed for Pip t get peccadilloed to bits by puffins on the Bass Rock. Grin I had the thought too about meeting Ian in Edinburgh - and Ian bumping into Charlie. Though I hope for Ian's self respect there is no actual 'bumping'.

I see we x-posted about the puffins. Yes, Brine's peccadilloes would have to get the very best peccadillo food.Smile

ErrolTheDragon · 12/10/2016 13:50

But puffins are such friendly little creatures (and all out at sea again by now). The only hazard they pose is turning your ankle in a burrow. I believe Bass has lots of gannets, those might be a bit more fearsome, though ideally I'd want a skua to skewer her.

Minimammoth · 12/10/2016 17:20

Aren't peccadillos some kind of hot spices sausage that you must never put in a paella.
Or are the a small vibrating device for women's pleasure?

Saker · 12/10/2016 18:33

This might have been said before, but I don't really understand what has actually changed for Ian other than everyone else now knowing about Adam's infidelities. Ian decided to go ahead with the wedding even after Rob had told him about Pavel and Charlie, and once the dust had settled, they seemed to be reasonably happy as a couple. I can understand that the information becoming public would change things, but it seems a very big change from ignoring it completely and carrying on as if nothing had happened to considering leaving Adam and Ambridge.
