DH actually pointed out at Christmas last that his name, which normally doesn't feature in TA, was actually in use. Of course i have already mentioned his choosing of a confirmation name, whenever little Catholics get confirmed (at 7, I think?), was influenced by TA. As most of my relatives are dead, i don't imagine any of them is on MN but just in case .

I used to know a lovely woman called Ursula. She was German and Jewish and had escaped via the Kindertransport. I will try to remember her when the name comes up.

All our family have TA names, though the dog's is a diminutive form.

We did actually think briefly of calling our son Miles, and Robert was a top favourite of mine, but not my husband's, so we went with another name. Phew!
