Is that all were going to hear from Henry? It wasn't great from Helen's point of view. Yes he said he was scared but this was linked to "mummy being sad".

I'm puzzled. Unless I misheard, it was said in court that the interview with Henry was recorded three days after the stabbing.

So why has Rob, as recently as last week, been droning on at Henry to 'tell the truth' so that 'Mummy can get better and nicer again'?

Is Henry likely to be interviewed again - or even cross-examined (surely not, at his age)? If so, why did they bother with the earlier interview?

The problem for me is that Helen is a character for which you can have no real empathy. She has always been selfish and bitchy. If you look back on what she has done over the years she is a very hard character to like.

Princess, in some of the pre-trial publicity it said that Henry's evidence would be -re-recorded, but that he would be cross-examined afterwards. I think they've skated right over that as it would have been next to impossible to script for a 5yo child. The children are recorded separately from the adults , so the Henry actor didn't know the questions he was answering, but that isn't a technique that would lend itself to cross-examination.

I didn't think Henry's evidence was too bad for Helen - especially given her reaction and coupled with Kirsty.
