Following on from a comment by DadDadDad on the spoilers thread, any predictions for the birth?

D3 has already picked 6 May.

I'm going for 13 May, 6lb 2 oz, Jonathan.

Scrap the travelling bit. Rob can go to his local registrar who will forward the details if he is unable to travel.

The thing is, even if Helen does register her choice of name, if Rob gets to raise the child he can use any name he wishes, so the child would learn that name and only years later discover officially he is something else.

drspouse · 23/05/2016 09:34

I thought we'd established the registrar came to the mother and baby unit?

redshoeblueshoe · 24/05/2016 13:08

Did we get an exact date ? No weight ? I expect SOC has no experience of babies

Stickerrocks · 24/05/2016 19:15

The CA said it was Saturday morning as Peggy was on the phone to Pat & the baby was born soon afterwards. No weight.

Popping on to guess Jack Adam.

rissabirnie · 25/05/2016 15:05

John Thomas. After his father.

SaraTheFairy · 25/05/2016 16:55

Mephistopheles Titchener? Or to counteract Gideon, Boris Nigel? I'm still sad that now forgotten Mungo wasn't called Nebuchenezzar Bellamy-Snell

GypsyFl0ss · 26/05/2016 19:46

Jonathan Anthony Archer.

Stickerrocks · 27/05/2016 19:16

John Anthony Archer, known as Jack. I think we can safely go with Helen's decision, as she is allowed to register the birth at the M&B unit. About to check back through to see how many got it right, as well as Gypsy above.

Stickerrocks · 27/05/2016 19:19

Several stand alone Johns & Anthonys, but Gypsy was the only one to put them together. (I'm sure D3 will correct me if I've overlooked anyone.)

OP posts:
DadDadDad · 27/05/2016 21:04

Yes, that's a remarkable guess by Gypsy (with that username I picture you sitting in your little tent staring into a crystal ball, unless you are in fact sitting in a studio in the BBC and have insider knowledge Shock).

I think special mention to maisie123 as the first to suggest John rather than Jonathan. lljkk was first to suggest Anthony.

elpth · 27/05/2016 21:22

No D^3 I was the first to mention Anthony! On 18/4/16 at 20.55.
lljkk said Anthony Thomas on 23/4/16

DadDadDad · 27/05/2016 21:28

My humblest apologies, elpth, I was too hasty. Fortunately, the runner-up medal hasn't quite left for the engravers, so I can get that fixed. Flowers

elpth · 27/05/2016 22:07

GrinThanks D^3

Jack? (As he will be known!) 😳

DadDadDad · 27/05/2016 23:26

Well, I thought it was runner-up medals for maisie and elpth, then the main prize to go to Gypsy could be that sculpture of a nude Justin that someone won a few years back on another TA thread.

elpth · 28/05/2016 01:53

Yes just runners up prize for me and maisie no nude statue of Justin here thank you

GypsyFl0ss · 28/05/2016 09:01

Hmmmm, a nude statue of Justin you say? I think I might just have to pass on that thanks all the same! Over on the other thread there were loads of predications for John / Jack...I'm sure Mystic Bore will take it off my hands Grin

DadDadDad · 28/05/2016 10:17

Fair enough, I'm not even sure if Icimoi comes on here anymore, so we might have trouble reclaiming the statue. We will probably see her on Antiques Roadshow with it and find it's worth something... Grin

AugustaFinkNottle · 28/05/2016 10:57

" I'm not even sure if Icimoi comes on here anymore"

(whispers) Hi!

DadDadDad · 28/05/2016 11:43

Ooh, your NC secret is safe with me (and fifty thousand other 'netters).Wink

I hope you've been polishing Justin regularly Blush

Wordsaremything · 28/05/2016 12:19

I said John known as Jack too, on 19/4 but got middle names wrong.
I demand a runner up medal too!
