This is all bullshit now

SuffolkNWhat · 06/04/2016 19:16

LAG is up already! I'm saving it for my bath

Limelight · 06/04/2016 19:16

FFS...

Stickerrocks · 06/04/2016 19:16

Well we knew she would tell. Helen had given her the ammunition on the school night.

MrsCampbellBlack · 06/04/2016 19:17

Indeed.

Can't be bothered to listen to this rubbish.

And I'm not buying susan either - at the end of the day she works with/for Pat and Helen - not sure she'd just throw her under the bus like that.

PC burns also being a twat. And also how indiscreet - is there no discretion/confidentiality in the police force?

Gruach · 06/04/2016 19:17

God, those two almost deserve each other - but my goodness, wouldn't Helen have thought twice if she'd known his parents before?

EmilyDickinson · 06/04/2016 19:18

That was a very clumsy way of giving us a medical update on Rob.

I'd rather have updates via Susan saying to various characters, "Had you heard..?" Etc.

enochroot · 06/04/2016 19:18

Bruce and Ursula both have badly fitting dentures as well as both being controlling.

MrsCampbellBlack · 06/04/2016 19:18

But surely the police will phone the school and find out that Rob had indeed enrolled 5 year old henry to board.

All Rob's lies will be revealed if the police or Helen's defence team do their job.

Gherkinsmummy · 06/04/2016 19:18

It's all nonsense. I actually wish it was all a dream

Gruach · 06/04/2016 19:19

I also don't believe that Susan - who knows what it is to be besieged by justice - could be so spiteful.

sunnydayinmay · 06/04/2016 19:20

I actually can't be bothered to listen.

SimoneDeBeaver · 06/04/2016 19:20

Are SWs just auditioning for EE now? Prob got their eye on following SOC.

BoreOfWhabylon · 06/04/2016 19:21

Now we know where Knob gets it from - the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

I loved all the gossippiness in that episode

Thanks, as always, for the thread Pseudo and belated welcome to Alleycat1 pathetically thrilled so pleased you like my name. Grin

NotnowNigel · 06/04/2016 19:21

The Action line notice at the end of the episode creates a sort of sick anxiety in me every time.

If you were being raped, threatened, beliitled, had to account for every penny, shouted at/smarmed at every day, would you be encouraged to take that first step to helping you and your children start a new life after listening to the Archers?

I don't think so.

Well, TA team, I hope you are proud of what you have achieved here. Shame on you.

BYOSnowman · 06/04/2016 19:22

Yep. There's no escape from dv and don't get any mh issues on record because they will be used against you rather than to help you

Boomingmarvellous · 06/04/2016 19:22

Looking very black for Hellin.

But I am sure Shula will pipe up at the trial and Charlie will come back and talk about the blackmail, stephan will show up from the far side of the moon, Ian will blacken his name and the cricket incident all point to bad character. Jess will be the star witness.

The school application will come to light as true.....and so on

There is a lot of evidence out there that knob is a wrongun as we've been pointing out all along but definitely will go to a trial.

IorekByrnisonsArmour · 06/04/2016 19:22

What absolute bullshit.

I don't watch EE anymore because it was like this.

I'll have to stop listening now

It's all such rubbish AngrySad

Boomingmarvellous · 06/04/2016 19:23

I wonder if Miles will turn up and put the knife in too! Metaphorically speaking Grin

MrsCampbellBlack · 06/04/2016 19:25

One gets the feeling that Miles doesn't care too much for his family

Marchate · 06/04/2016 19:26

Miles called as a witness for the defence would be good

recyclingbag · 06/04/2016 19:26

I've completely missed the last 2 threads. Impossible to keep up!

SmallLegsOrSmallEggs · 06/04/2016 19:27

In mich the same way that it isn't ok to stab someone for being not very nice, they mo longer hand out capital punishment for enroling children in BS. So...even if he had enrolled him, which I doubt, her reaction still seems disproportionate.

Most people would say "we'll see about that" or "o er my dead body".

But again, how utterly original in a drama to have someone announce their intention to kill someone just before it seems that they have tried to do just that.

How on earth does SOC come up with these earth shatteringly different, mould breaking storylines? It's almost as if he's raided the waste paper basket in the EE SW room.

OneMoreStepAroundTheBendIGo · 06/04/2016 19:27

I need to listen again. I thought I heard Bruce tell Ursula "get your clothes on", when he was berating her for becoming hysterical in the hospital.

AugustaFinkNottle · 06/04/2016 19:27

There are very strict rules about what you can report once someone's been arrested

Doesn't that only apply once someone's been charged? There have been all too many cases of newspapers publishing all sorts of scurrilous things about people who have been arrested, e.g. in the Joanna Yeates case.
