Colabottle10 · 04/04/2016 08:26

It's on the Today programme now.

Vango · 04/04/2016 08:27

Is this the best they can do?

redshoeblueshoe · 04/04/2016 08:27

Yep no x posting here

redshoeblueshoe · 04/04/2016 08:27

Bollocks

Vango · 04/04/2016 08:28

They'd have been better just reading out some of the comments on here! What a pointless item, at such a crucial slot!

redshoeblueshoe · 04/04/2016 08:29

Totally agree Vango

redshoeblueshoe · 04/04/2016 08:30

and fuck off with your help lines

Vango · 04/04/2016 08:30

The juxtaposition of 'ha ha ha, isn't it hilarious' with last week's 'we're taking our responsibility to the listeners seriously' is just staggering!

Gruach · 04/04/2016 08:31

What on earth is the use of a helpline after you've told every woman living in similar circumstances that there is no way out and a knife will inevitably be involved?Angry

Vango · 04/04/2016 08:31

What's the Helpline advice going to be in the future? If you're planning on cooking a meal to break the news, make sure you've removed all sharp kitchen implements in advance?

ArgyMargy · 04/04/2016 08:31

Poor old Rob Bonnett with the Sport having to follow that GrinGrin

Vango · 04/04/2016 08:32

This. X100. I am soooo angry about this!

shinynewusername · 04/04/2016 08:32

At least Today allowed some criticism of the plot- unusual for the Beeb which (much as I love it) has distinctly Stalinist tendencies when it comes to dissent.

DadDadDad · 04/04/2016 08:35

Ha! "Here's Rob with the sport..." Nooooo... Shock

I literally turned on the radio as they were replaying a scene with Rob and Helen, not expecting it at all. Very disorientating.

EsmesBees · 04/04/2016 08:37

Feedback will be interesting next week...

At least it wasn't as bad as the slot after the Nigel episode with the huge spoiler.

JessieMcJessie · 04/04/2016 08:37

Who was that woman they interviewed? I found the general sniggering in the studio quite distasteful actually, the helpline was mentioned with what I imagined to be eye rolling.

redshoeblueshoe · 04/04/2016 08:37

Is it too early for Wine ? I don't think I'll cope with WH

fairyqueen · 04/04/2016 08:39

Just to disagree with you all slightly, surely it does give the message that it's best to just leave, not try to tell him, which is a positive surely? From a selfish point of view I can start listening again (assuming he's dead) as I can't deal with the tension of the plot. I do mostly agree with you all, but try to see the good in things (like Helen?)

redshoeblueshoe · 04/04/2016 08:39

Exactly Jessie, manic laughter and she was incoherent Angry Angry Angry

BYOSnowman · 04/04/2016 08:40

Fairy - it was the 'I will never let you leave. You belong to me' stuff that will also have been deeply unhelpful
