I think Tom and Kirsty will both realise they were both skirting round the subject and it will be okay to express doubts again. What will probably delay this is that it's weird for them to be talking again.

I think Johnny will be okay, because however much he might think of Rob, being told he's like his father is going to win out. And he made the right decision (we assume.)

Tom and Kirsty tried to talk, but they were both nervous. It did seem like the penny is dropping with both of them.

The number of film characters I saw this morning I'm not sure it matters!

Johnny needs to realise that rob is book smart and he is not and so rob is not a good mentor. I'm surprised he didn't take Tony's advice.

I think Johnny not taking Rob'd advice marks his strength of character, even though he's impressed by Rob (articulate, confident).

(I would say 'successful' but being a shop assistant after losing his £60k job at Berrow isn't really all that.... )
