Come on Kirsty!

Ah - thank you Boop. Not my mind in-filling for me then.

Pre-eclampsia can result in convulsions (=eclampsia). Vomiting bad sign for PE. But not heard about any swelling??

BYOSnowman · 05/02/2016 20:53

perhaps this is leading to a negligence sl wrt NHS and Helen's PE

Well...I'd have thought she would prob have been put on low dose aspirin as high risk for PE, and MWs definitely keeping a careful watch for it at any rate. Reality being sacrificed for the SL? [bristles on behalf of NHS]

BYOSnowman · 05/02/2016 21:04

LA

she says 'rob you're....' and then something falls to the floor

i'm going to guess it's the aloe gel and we are being led up the garden path

spiker · 05/02/2016 21:12

What was she going to say?!

"Rob you're...a Total Arse" ??

SmallLegsOrSmallEggs · 05/02/2016 21:16

I think she was trampked by Otto.

JessieMcJessie · 05/02/2016 21:39

choccy I don't think that Sam the Cowman was actually on the NZ trip. Usha would have reacted MUCH more strongly had that been the case. What Ruth was saying was that being there reminded her of him as he had worked there (no doubt picking up plate meter skills) and I imagine used to bang on about it quite a lot. The "Sam" she waved to at the airport was just a little decoy to give listeners and David a start.

ColdTeaAgain · 05/02/2016 22:00

Have just listened to Monday to Friday on iplayer...
Yep, he pushed her back onto the chair, first sign of getting physical again since that night Sad Turning Henry against her was heartbreaking.

It did sound like she was saying hurting but fell or collapsed before she even finished the word.

Helens growth scan would be with sonographer and most sonographers are not from a midwifery background so it would just be a scan appointment. I look at my patients notes and ask if they are generally feeling well and get on with the scan. Obviously if the patient disclosed anything to me or if there was anything that concerned me I would take the appropriate action. But as Helen is still covering everything up and trying to act like all is well then the sonographer is not going to think any more of her behaviour than maybe she was just a bit nervous about the scan. Saying that she only really gets in a state when Knob is present so she probably seemed completely fine at the scan.

She must be due to see mw soon, I suspect a little visit to A&E to be checked out will get the mw attention!

Please let this all end soon, H and her baby are at risk. Henry is being emotionally abused. Its all getting too awful.

SmallLegsOrSmallEggs · 05/02/2016 22:00

Or maybe she has got her ankle trapped in a culvert by to a bit of corrugated metalHmm

ColdTeaAgain · 05/02/2016 22:07

Just listened to the ending again, I think it sounds like she started fitting.

SmallLegsOrSmallEggs · 05/02/2016 22:07

LA she was already in a strop. She said "Rob....you're...hgghmmhfff" which could either have been vomiting or fainting but sounded more like fainting (not very well done).

Rob's reaction was patronising then exasperated then concerned/frantic rather than angry so I think she did faint.

Possibly she had been about to say you're in my way or too close to me.

ColdTeaAgain · 05/02/2016 22:09

Maybe SmallLegs Grin

ColdTeaAgain · 05/02/2016 22:12

Agree about him being very patronising as she was losing her temper. He was also putting her down to Pat after the school incident too. Surely people must start to notice he isn't the same adoring husband he used to be!

Loved all the bits with Brian this week, much needed comic relief.

Imbroglio · 05/02/2016 22:14

I thought she was panicking rather than losing her temper

echt · 05/02/2016 22:17

I've been making DH sit through Tuesday and Wednesday's eps over breakfast, with Thursday and Fridays tomorrow, to catch up.

He's appalled at Rob. We call him Mr Uttercunt (the same cadences otter hunt).

ColdTeaAgain · 05/02/2016 22:17

Was meaning she was losing her temper with the till, all the stress boiling over.

AnnieNoMouse · 05/02/2016 22:18

I just LA to the final minute. The whole conversation between Jolene and Rob was about food and valentines - that must have triggered abreaction in her

ColdTeaAgain · 05/02/2016 22:35

Ah I see, yes that makes sense, she was panicking and that's why she was fumbling with the till and lost it.

Wonder if it is blessing in disguise though, this might be the start of people joining the dots.

Lancelottie · 05/02/2016 22:45

Dammit, I hadn't spotted the subtlety about the pancakes conversation in front of someone with an eating disorder. Too busy thinking 'Mmm, salted caramel pancakes' to concentrate.

SmallLegsOrSmallEggs · 05/02/2016 22:54

I was thinking goat cheese (mmm) pesto (ok) goat cheese, pesto and pancake > boak

SmallLegsOrSmallEggs · 05/02/2016 22:55

But that makes sense. So she was trying to do the Helen dash and Rob was trying to get to the till so maybe she was about to say "Rob you're [in the way]"

BYOSnowman · 05/02/2016 22:56

I thought that too - pesto and a good goats cheese don't sound great

I would rather goats cheese, beetroot, walnuts and a bit of honey

enochroot · 05/02/2016 22:57

Yes, I too was beguiled by salted caramel pancakes and missed that association but AnnieNoMouse is dead right.

She seems to be able to cook beef casserole yet mention of a valentine's night menu makes her hurl. This time she had the added pressure of knowing her son is being turned against her.

I'm not at all sure about goats'cheese and pesto pancakes.

Shallishanti · 05/02/2016 22:57

maybe she'll go to hospital and a nurse will figure it out
