He's torturing her by putting huge plates of food in front of her.

Stickerrocks · 31/01/2016 19:14

Please Kirsty, try to give the tickets to Helen & Henry. Bet they won't be allowed out on a school night though.

IorekByrnisonsArmour · 31/01/2016 19:14

Please let Helen go with Kirsty

Shallishanti · 31/01/2016 19:16

tuesday, hooray!

IorekByrnisonsArmour · 31/01/2016 19:16

Who would send a child to find their potentially sick mother?

Stickerrocks · 31/01/2016 19:18

Rob couldn't go into the ladies toilets (& it would be beneath him). Luckily Henry didn't work out what she was doing in there.

IorekByrnisonsArmour · 31/01/2016 19:19

The more I think about it the more SadAngry it makes me.

I hope H and H make it to the outing with R and K

For Helen to be around normal caring people for an afternoon would be fab

enochroot · 31/01/2016 19:19

'Gin o'clock.'

enochroot · 31/01/2016 19:24

Is he gaslighting her again saying the scan is on Wednesday and planning to make her feel an idiot because it's on Tuesday?

Wow you lot can really chat. (& I say that with gratitude by the way) I have just caught up & would like to give a BOOP to the CA after today's omnibus. After the schmaltzy roof & deavid love-in, the ca said "I bet you're thinking what I'm thinking" I knew exactly what he meant. Grin

TopazRocks · 31/01/2016 19:43

I so don't want to know about Lilian's mojo. Anyone?!

I wonder if Helen has deliberately changed the appt so she can go alone??? I do hope so. He was so cruel over the pudding.

Now Kirsty is clearly 'on the case', surely the outing will take place. BUT there is a risk, esp as Helen doesn't go to the school, that Knob now he has PR will dump on her, and ensure she can't get him out of school. BUT it IS naice the Ambridge Health Fairy has sorted it for Tony so he is driving and doing it all, and nobody ever needs to mention any residual injuries. Oh well.

Valentine's with Rob... bleaurgh.

IorekByrnisonsArmour · 31/01/2016 20:18

Valentine's with Rob... bleaurgh.

That's what sent Helen to the ladies.

PseudoBadger · 31/01/2016 20:20

She will leave him this week. For the first time. She will pick up Henry, go out with Kirsty and not go back. For a few days Sad

Or... her plans will be scuppered by the scan which is in fact on Tuesday.

So ... I don't remember the details of the scan date. Did Rob say Wednesday because he's fearful of what outsiders will notice and wants her to miss it?Confused

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 31/01/2016 20:31

If she takes Henry out early, R will get to hear about it and there will be trouble. I don't think Kirsty is going to let this go though, which is quite phenomenally good of her considering the terms she and H parted on.

Is Helen now making herself sick as well? Sounded like puking noises in the toilet scene to me.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 31/01/2016 20:49

Was I the only person who thought 'What, take a child out of school early to go on a steam train as a birthday treat for an adult he scarcely knows? Really?' I can't see the school giving permission for it if Helen tells them the truth. It gives Rob yet another stick to beat Helen with too - 'Darling, do you really think it was a good idea to disrupt Henry's routine like that for something so unimportant? You know how hard we've all had to work to get him settled in school and now he thinks he can just leave early whenever there's something more interesting to do. Not well done at all, Helen. I thought better of you.'

SmallLegsOrSmallEggs · 31/01/2016 20:50

I don't think he is torturing her. I think that is just his inept way of making sure she eats. He thinks that is how to deal with an ED.

SmallLegsOrSmallEggs · 31/01/2016 20:52

I interpreted the scan conversation as 1) flag to listeners scan coming up
2) he is interested in the pg, she is not
3) him starting to worry she is not well

Veritat · 31/01/2016 21:28

Yes, cheminotte, I was assuming bulimia. Unless she was totally nauseated at the thought of a romantic night with Knob.

Imbroglio · 31/01/2016 22:09

I thought her vomiting was involuntary.

BYOSnowman · 31/01/2016 22:15

If you've starved yourself for a long while and then eat a big meal - would your body react in that way? I would have thought it would be quite a shock to the system
