Is Ed's wedding very soon?

I think Scruff is like Toto and Linda wearing ruby slippers is going to lead him into the village in triumph while Rob is ejected from the village tarred and feathered.

Rob's job?
Abusing the staff so they all want to leave
Parring costs down by buying cheap feed
Being rude and hostile with members of the public
Neglecting maintenance
Belittling and sneering about staff behind their backs
Taking lots of time off for personal matters and long lunches
Finding innovative things to do with farm rubbish

Minimammoth · 28/05/2015 18:53

Scruff is found, scruff recognises Rob and bites him, unfortunately Scruff has Rabies, exit Rob frothing.

TheOnlyOliviaMumsnet · 28/05/2015 18:53

@ppeatfruit

She was so blinded by lust she didn't think it through and now she's so desperate for a family of her own she's still not rational (maybe she just isn't rational Grin)

I don't think she DOES want another baby but he does. How are they going to audibly demonstrate that he has been putting a needle through her cap or swapping her mini pill for sweeteners. I reckon that's what he has been up to, deceitful bugger that he is.
NelsonsWineBar · 28/05/2015 19:08

Blimey Olivia I do not want to think about Helen's cap.

Let alone the "audible" bit.

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 28/05/2015 19:09

That started as a fairly nice mother daughter relationship

Why are the all falling for the big business pr machine? They're all coming across as totally thick and short sighted

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 28/05/2015 19:15

Oh dear. Poor Christine. Unfortunately these kind of things are very common.

Love Kate's attitude re Brian being a hypocrite.

No scruff though. Unless he's the thief.

ZeroFunDame · 28/05/2015 19:26

Well. That was disappointing.

Minimammoth · 28/05/2015 19:31

Very. Humph.

LaundryFairy · 28/05/2015 20:00

Nearly spat my tea out with Adam's comment to Charlie "I'm sure you didn't come here to compliment me on my soft fruit"!!

Icimoi · 28/05/2015 20:06

Disclaimer: I haven't heard tonight's episode yes, so this might already be a load of rubbish.

My bet on what will happen with Hellin is that she'll be asked an awkward question or two about how she can reconcile promoting Berrow with her organic principles and will either disclaim said principles, isolating herself from her family; or she will fluff it and Knob will guilt-trip her forever; or she will give an honest answer, tell Knob to get lost, and lose Knob his job. Sadly the chances of the last alternative are probably near zero.

CuttedUpPear · 28/05/2015 21:54

Did anyone see the interview with SOC at Hay festival?
One question he was asked was why did they wait a year to do the flood story.

His answer was ridiculous.
He said that if they had done it while the flooding was happening in RL it would have appeared that they were capitalising on it.

HUH???
Like wtaf?

SOC we are not thick. We know that TA is recorded 6 weeks ahead of real time.
Why the heck not just say that?
You would rather try to make us think that a programme devised to give farming information would be SO sensitive about a real issue affecting real people that it would wait a year before mentioning it?

I had no respect for SOC just before, now I am full of contempt!

Icimoi · 28/05/2015 22:17

Cutted, did anyone ask him about the stupid Brookfield sale storyline? I would love to hear him try to justify the manifold stupidities of that one.

CuttedUpPear · 29/05/2015 00:18

Yes they did Ici
He was just all "Haw haw we were obvs NEVER going to let them leave. It would be like the ravens leaving the Tower!"

Twat.

CuttedUpPear · 29/05/2015 00:20

Here it is if you really want to get wound up.

ZeroFunDame · 29/05/2015 01:06

Thank you CUP!

I'd like to say it was interesting - but he seemed to be practising for political office.

Quite pleased I'm not attending the Soho thing - too far to go to be fobbed off like a troublesome toddler.

But a Tiger possibility! (As long as he doesn't come back with a new voice.)

And surely one or two new cast members might be offered fabulous TV roles? Tomorrow. Forever.

DadDadDad · 29/05/2015 07:23

Point of business: this thread will run out on Sunday, so start suggesting titles for the next one. Hopefully Pseudo will have returned by then.

stilllearnin · 29/05/2015 07:52

Oh and Pip for the next 50 years?? Shock

stilllearnin · 29/05/2015 08:08

I'm off to hay this morning shall I see if he's still around?

CuttedUpPear · 29/05/2015 08:16

Yes stillearnin trip him up into a ditch.

Return of the Tiger? Highly unlikely. Not unless the actor gets down on his knees and crawls the length of the M4, which is clearly what SOC would like to happen.

I'd have liked to be a fly on the wall at the production meeting where the actor flounced walked out. I bet some choice words were exchanged.

ZeroFunDame · 29/05/2015 08:29

That's why I was worried about a Tiger with a different roar.

Hope you have fun stilllearnin.

stilllearnin · 29/05/2015 08:29

I'll do my best! I happen to be travelling the entire length of m4 on Sunday morning. If I see tiger I shall definitely pick him up Smile at your service!

minkGrundy · 29/05/2015 09:18

Farming peeps on the thread- i take it this is the time of year for hay silage?
What is a clamp?

I was sure where i grew up, in the far north with silage towers, we used to hear them in the late summer...

RocknRollNerd · 29/05/2015 09:23

I am so very very very bored of fraternal stuff on Ambridge - I really wish they'd give it a rest, we're not allowed any respite even though EdnWill have apparently made up - we've got to have David and Kenton at loggerheads and they've thrown Fairbrethren into the mix as well...

Also given that it was Shula who went with Auntie Chris to see the state of the house (and why the heck didn't she go and check it out first given Chris was losing the plot about it) is anyone else desperately hoping that it isn't HWMNBN who has been staying there?
