I'm not entirely convinced that Charlie is full-on gay. Kate tries to flirt with him and I would have thought she would have finely tuned gaydar. He seems to take some interest in Pip but she failed a test somehow when she didn't get his Dickens reference.
And have we discounted the theory that Pip is gay? She did seem to be struck by the sister with the brother and sister robotic milking kit.

Anyway, I think Pip's career move might be on hold until it's decided whether or not Home Fires goes to a second series.

I don't think Kate would have a good gaydar. She is so totally absorbed with herself that she is unlikely to register that people have relationships and interests outside of their relationship with her

Well I'm approaching Lil's age and there's no way I'd go for a 20 or 30 yr.old boy, that's plain weird. Lil does tend towards self absorption , IMO, in RL she'd be an alky or dying from lung cancer (once again IMO (ducks flames from Lil lovers )

We've heard Rob being menacing often enough to know how he works. Stefan was already scared of him so Rob's threatened him in some way which I hope will become clear but the result is that Stefan is no longer available for questioning and Rob's riding high.
Charlie smells a rat though and Charlie's no fool. If Stefan was legally employed then he must be traceable. If Stefan was illegally employed and Rob knew that then the plot thickens considerably.

If Charlie had to come and tell Rob about his attachment of earnings then the payroll for Berrow Farm is done at head office so Stefan must have had the right paperwork for legal employment, presumably as an EU citizen.

Still, his sudden return home is just so convenient for Rob that there must be skulduggery afoot.

Unless Rob really has done him in but that's just too Eastenderish, isn't it?

I'm not quite clear when the BL contract work actually ends or ended for her and Adam.

But she must need a new job. (Perhaps she made so much money she can take a few years off?) She cannot possibly need to be permanently in Hungary now.

They've had plenty of time to prepare a new actor. If they are determined not to bring her back they might at least drop in a word about what has become of her.

Did I miss anything with Knob? There was no interaction between him and Stefan was there?

And the first time Charlie spoke to Rob anout the culvert, did he ask Rob if he knew anything about it?

She's got a boyfriend/partner in Hungary doesn't she - and I'm no quite sure what the set up was out there.

Adam's contract work for BL finished at Xmas/New Year. Charlie used to play the game of needing Adam to 'just do this small job' as a pretence for seeing him. Adam won't do that any more (eg turned down the ditch work) and R'n'B Contracting have got a tighter contract where they will charge over the odds for extras (I presume) so now Ed gets the little maintenance jobs.
I presume that Debbie's contract ended at the same time. So where is she, SW? They could quite easily say that she was taken on by the company who won the new Hungarian contact.

I didn't really understand what Charlie was up to yesterday. Does the dairy industry not 'do' Bank Holidays and therefore everyone was at work? If so, then that applies to weekends too so why wasn't Charlie interviewing then?
