Is Ed's wedding very soon?

I am worried for him. I don't think we've ever heard Stefan speak - so have they brought in a new actor, or will we never hear him?

Is Stefan frightened of Rob or the whole BL enterprise? If the latter then he's unlikely to want to make a statement.

Maybe they have recruited him from the same School of Mime that Lil attended?

I think that Emm is trying to let bygones be bygones at last, because of the wedding, quite plausible, Nic is too. About bleedin' time.

I've lost track a bit over the last week - can someone explain the threatening Rob/ Ed conversation?

Well Knob was like Dr. Hyde and Mr Jekyll talking to Ed while he was hedging or whatever, he was soooo nice saying he and Hell are giving a lovely gift of 2 cheese boards for his wedding. Then he went dark and suggested that he had to be very careful not to talk to strangers (if he sees something he doesn't understand on the estate) and how confidential he has to be when dealing with estate matters.

Oh yes, and re Stefan. If it's all so secret that he has to meet JD in a coffee shop in Dorchester, he's not very likely to spill the beans in front of David, is he?

If he's going to tell Jenny why not David? It's unlikely that JD wouldn't tell anyone else isn't it?

Did Brian resign completely from the BL board? In Stefan's place I'd rather talk to David than Jenny ...

Yes Polly?Ed said something to David, in the latter's capacity as flood warden about finding lots of rubbish in the culverts. Not sure how this got back to Charlie or Rob but they both warned him off. The odd thing is that Ed didn't seem to realise that what he had done was going against his obligation of confidentiality-Rob said something like "you must not talk about the work" and Ed said "Oh, yes, I know" to which Rob put on his best Menacing Posh Man voice and said something like "But it doesn't really seem to have sunk in though Ed, does it?".

Cue ed rushing home to look confidentiality up in the dictionary. Doh!

I'm wondering if Stefan will have some distinguishing physical feature (like tall Rachel) as he will no doubt sound exactly like any number of existing male characters. Or dare we hope that David and Jenny will report back on the meeting so we won't have to hear him at all.

Actually now I'm wondering if he was charged with disposing of the culvert blockage material which he has hidden away in a high place (a high-ding place) and tall Rachel will need to make use of her full height to examine it.

Stefan won't sound like any of the existing male characters, but his appearance will shortly be followed by plotlines involving interchangeable middle-european strawberry pickers.

Em and Nic have always tried to maintain some sort of civilized behaviour between the brothers, even though they have had periods of being competitive. If nothing else, they both want peaceful cooperation for George's sake.

Charlie warned Ed about being careful what he said when he hired him to clear ditches. Ed immediately told Emma but I suppose Em wouldn't be likely to repeat it to anyone.
Then he told David that he'd pulled a lot of debris out of one of the culverts and that 'someone' had later removed it.

AFAIK Charlie doesn't know there's been any blabbing going on and I'm not sure how Rob's got wind of it. David, I think, asked him a sort of general question after talking to Tall Rachel and Rob's threatened Ed about keeping quiet but he's a bit late doing that if David's already investigating. Unless Ed knows more than he's yet said, or Rob thinks he does.

FatherH Stefan is a Berrow Farm employee and potential whistleblower. He is anxious to pass on to Jenny some info about "something he saw" - pertaining to culvert skullduggery. But if Rob finds out before the whistle is blown it is unlikely that Stefan will retain his limbs or memory for very much longer.

Talking of weird ... Caroline has scoured the whole of Borsetshire and the internet and can't find anything for Clarrie. Fallon is now looking in the vintage shops - is she going to unearth the exact outfit that Clarrie wore back in the day for ?Rosie's? please, not Will's wedding?
