Actually BYOS I thought that the scene where Ed asked Will to be his best man was well done, there was ALMOST a truce between them, Ed was thinking how happy it would make his mum and Emm. I got a bit teary .

Agree that asking your the ex husband of your bride to be your best man is not something many people would consider sensible. No one in the family seems to be thinking about how Em would feel gliding down the aisle towards her ex. It just wouldn't happen.

I thought the scene between ed and will was well done but the whole idea was indeed ridiculous. Even brothers who get on well more often have a friend as best man, so it's weird that anyone would think will should be ed's in their situation.

Yes zero I was at a sibling's wedding this week. Not quite the same scenario but I agree if this is near the knuckle for you then it was hard listening.

That's one of the most ridiculous parts of the story. Surely the first thing Ed would have done when the olds started putting pressure on him would be to talk to Emma. And surely, surely she would have laughed in his face and told him it was the worst idea in the whole history of the world.

God there are so many absolutely stupid storylines going on at the mo. Not just the best man thing but Kenton and Jolene's complete financial crisis - not just that they can't pay a £300 bill but blaming it all on David when Kenton spent money he didn't have. And now blaming him for him being a crap dad to Meriel. He's always been a crap dad to her.
