It's all getting rather delicious. I feel sorry for Kenton the fool

Goodness, Rob was more overtly awful in that meeting than I was expecting him to be. He really is losing it.

I missed the last minute as the iplayer episode ended too soon Confused

Also the last time I remember Rob being at work he was being picked all over by Charlie. Not doing that well at all.

enochroot · 26/02/2015 20:24

Crivens! Rob's excluded from the meeting about the shop, it's been pointed out to him that he's expected to be the provider, marriage has been mentioned.
No wonder he's gone into attack mode and is intent on driving a wedge between Helen and Tom before the shop meeting.

Tom was livid that Rob raised an objection about not getting his mits on The Lodge. - and it is outrageous that he should do so. BOOP for Peggy.

ZeroFunDame · 26/02/2015 20:26

It's annoying.

Pre-Canada Tom thought Rob was a god. But it's impossible to tell whether this new frosty Tom is a result of time spent in icy wastes or the SWs changing the story to suit the plot.Confused

But it was hilarious to hear him so forensically exclude Rob from the AO meeting.

PigletJohn · 26/02/2015 20:28

gor blimey guv'nor, was he really?

enochroot · 26/02/2015 20:31

I said at the time that Rob knew how to contact Tom when the family couldn't. I think the penny's dropped with Tom but he hasn't seen any reason so far to mention it.
He's also had a year to think about Rob's malicious advice to buy non-organic feed and find it replicated in the way Rob did the buying when Tony was injured.

nauticant · 26/02/2015 20:33

Crikey! The retro-swearing really has broken out on this thread!

AllMimsyWereTheBorogoves · 26/02/2015 20:34

Cripes! Not 'arf. Smile

enochroot · 26/02/2015 20:35

Not retro at all! When DD was small DH decided wisely to tone down his swearing and reverted to his Scottish roots for Jings Crivens.

enochroot · 26/02/2015 20:37

Now they both swear like sailors.

ZeroFunDame · 26/02/2015 20:38

I have it. Listen up.

Eventually (possibly several years hence) Ed will be offered the job of running the mega-dairy.

In the meantime there was definite flirtation tonight. Looks like Charlie has given up on Adam ...

TheMShip · 26/02/2015 20:44

Argh, last minute chopped on iPlayer! What did I miss? Rob was working up to something!

PigletJohn · 26/02/2015 20:45

'Od's Wounds!

nauticant · 26/02/2015 20:50

Zounds TheMShip how vexatious!

AllMimsyWereTheBorogoves · 26/02/2015 20:53

My word, what a bally nuisance, M!

I think the last minute was Ruth leaving a message on Usha's answerphone asking for an urgent meeting. Hurrah! Grin

nauticant · 26/02/2015 21:05

By the way, is anyone else listening to The Henry Experiment (15 Minute Drama at 19.45)? I was very tickled to hear it described as Rob Titchener's Diary.

Did anyone listen to it live. I missed the last 5 mins. What happened. Did knob and helin say any more?

PetulaGordino · 26/02/2015 21:34

They did that with the iplayer yesterday too mship! V annoying

MollieCoddler · 26/02/2015 21:35

Peggy and Tom left. Door shut. Awful silence where you actually feel fearful for Helen. But actually she stood up for herself/Peggy quite well and said Peggy's decision made sense. Rob clearly unhappy about it but did not say anything drastic.

enochroot · 26/02/2015 21:43

Rob did say that Tom's behind Peggy's change of heart. He's trying to make Helen believe this so that, he hopes, Helen will set herself against anything Tom says at the shop meeting tomorrow.

enochroot · 26/02/2015 21:47

Fiddlesticks! I meant to say I can forgive Peggy much after that except her saying Henry is adorable.

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 26/02/2015 21:47

it was nice to hear peggy and tom doting over henry. although why is the kid so obsessed with dvd's?

ErrolTheDragon · 26/02/2015 22:19

Henry is obsessed with DVDs because Rob for some unfathomable reason seems to disapprove of them. Maybe the kid isn't all bad.

ErrolTheDragon · 26/02/2015 22:20

Sorry, given the recent drift of the thread I probably should have called H 'the wee scunner'.

Bea · 26/02/2015 22:23

Arrrgghhh, just catching up now!! I really don't know how David is keeping from slapping her!!
