It's all getting rather delicious. I feel sorry for Kenton the fool

Pip does cook! Grin Wasn't she using Brookfield beef to make a protest Beef Wellington, just before Christmas? tho god knows how it turned out, I have a mental image now of beef as tough as an actual Wellington in a pastry case shaped like a boot.

ErrolTheDragon · 25/02/2015 15:48

I'd forgotten that. But making a Beef Wellington for a special occasion isn't cooking as in feeding a family every day.

CuttedUpPear · 25/02/2015 16:48

LilianGish Jill said There have always been Starkarchers at Brookfield. Sorry if some people thought that was an obscure ref - it's not in the least bit highbrow

Jessie I know a comment from me is hardly impartial but I feel that all of our thread titles are so convoluted and meandering anyway, they are hardly the stuff to draw in new posters who are unfamiliar with TA. Big up to pseudo Smile

So I for one would love a CCF reference in a thread title. It's my favourite book EVER.
Given a choice between a world with CCF and one with TA, I'm afraid Ambridge would be in Room 101.

And what's wrong with being a casserole quiche anyway?

CuttedUpPear · 25/02/2015 16:49

Meant to say, I totally agree with Lilian's post in italics above.

enochroot · 25/02/2015 19:00

They ARE reading this.

OddFodd · 25/02/2015 19:00

CA: 'Peggy thinking of changing her will'

They are so reading this thread

OddFodd · 25/02/2015 19:01

Haha Enoch! Grin

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 25/02/2015 19:07

Fallon and burns are so dull. Are we really supposedto believe they are in any way trendy? Bleurgh

Nice to hear jazzer and johnny!! And the pigs!!

ZeroFunDame · 25/02/2015 19:08

Jazzer is beginning to sound - old.

How's he going to manage all that manual labour in years to come?

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 25/02/2015 19:08

Will Peggy die before she gets to sign the new will?

CuttedUpPear · 25/02/2015 19:10

Tom's personality transplant was a great success.

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 25/02/2015 19:13

Is she going to remember Lillian in her new will? And Jenny?

When I listen to fallon and her 'quirky' ideas it make me cringe. And that was a very crude joke by burns. I hope the pair of them go on a long honeymoon and get lost on the way back.

High cast prices this episode!!

nauticant · 25/02/2015 19:14

I wonder how many more of the great changes are going to turn out to have been a dream be wound back.

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 25/02/2015 19:15

Oh god - please don't let Kirsty come back and get back with Tom like nothing happened. That would be totally unbelievable.

nauticant · 25/02/2015 19:16

It's so nice to have you back Pat says to Tom. Nice irony SWs!

Icimoi · 25/02/2015 19:16

BOOP point for Phoebe actress's acting last night. She's in a different league from NewPip in terms of acting ability.

choccyp1g · 25/02/2015 19:18

Help help, I missed the crude joke.

nauticant · 25/02/2015 19:19

I had actually written out the comment below but pulled it when it became clear that this episode would be positively teeming with cast BYOS:

One statistic I'd like to see is how the number of different speaking characters per episode varies against time. Is it my imagination or are episodes becoming less populated?

ZeroFunDame · 25/02/2015 19:19

Well in the TA blog scion of a dynasty says he'd like Tom to have some sort of love life.

This is the second (?) time Kirstie's been mentioned so ...

Although for pure entertainment it would be fun to see a rival appear (hello Brenda!) before they settle down on the spare plot at Bridge Farm.

BoreOfWhabylon · 25/02/2015 19:29

Yes Zero, I think Brenda and/or Kirst will put in an appearance ere long.

Of course, there's always the possibility that ChipolataBoy will make a play for Fallon.

And am wondering if Sam, Sam the Platemeter Man might make a return and head off to Hadley Hoff with Ruth (nah, she won't leave either, but it's an amusing thought)

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 25/02/2015 19:35

Oh come on - fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Do we really believe Kirsty will come back a third time? They haven't even written a 'fool me thrice' because no one is that stupid!!!!

Kirsty snogged burns
Jazzer 'put him down, you don't know where he's been'
Burns (something along these lines) - I know where I've been
Cue Kirsty doing her irritating giggle

I hate fallon I've decided. I was in a really good mood (got a free coffee this morning - easily pleased) and after hearing her and burns I'm in a grump again

MuddhaOfSuburbia · 25/02/2015 19:59

Fallon sounded a bit weird tonight

I have no strong opinions on her either way- apart from that she should go out with Jazzer

also I would really REALLY like to have a Tea Room

LillianGish · 25/02/2015 20:34

Tom was perfectly happy with Peggy's will rethink, but she needs him to be there when she breaks the news to Knob Hellin.

MollieCoddler · 25/02/2015 21:07

Cutteduppear, I like cold comfort farm too but I think nightingale wood is equally fab if not better, also bystella gibbons.

Why does Peggy need Tom with her to go to speak to hell in? I thought she liked rob?
Quite fancy a tea room myself

choccyp1g · 25/02/2015 21:18

I thought Peggy meant for him to come to the solicitors for the new will.
