As tribute to the best SL at the moment...

Is it just me or does anyone else recall an episode with chilli (and Soosan and Neil) some time ago? I mentioned this to Mr Topaz but he doesn't remember. This would be a good thing as shows some continuity in SLs. It did make me laugh though, as I was finishing making a very bland pasta to welcome DH back after a long weekend away. Though possibly just as well it wasn't anything more 'exciting' what with all our injuries and ailments just now ....

CUP, good luck with the broadcast - I am sure they will be happy to let you use a made-up name. It's quite common for callers to name-change for phone in progs.Mr T has been on things, mostly Feedback and Any Answers - but he has a massive ego so would ever hide his identity.

I do wonder at all those plans/discussions between David and WonderPip
and the new milking arrangements in Ruth's absence when usually
it's Ruth who gets up at the crack of dawn to do the milking.

Surely the point of the robot milker is that no one has to get up early, because the cows go in themselves?

Yes, of course for the robotic milker, but I thought they were now talking of some sort of mobile effort. Does that move itself - across the bridge over the new road if necessary? Or maybe the cows do the moving? I clearly haven't been paying due attention. I WAs meaning to look up pics of milking parlours on the web as it's an unknown area to me ....

And I'd still think Roth would want some input into the care of HER cows. I wonder if Felicity F is going to pop up on WH soon.

(Has anyone else noticed in RL that around the age of 37, some of the slightly more cognitively dissonant people with whom you went to school (and whose birthday parties you attended) suddenly seem to have been transported to an alternative universe where they were one or more years below you at school?)

I was a bit mystified by Jennifer's performance on the radio. What does making dinner for a family of four after you've worked hard all day have to do with Route B? The new road might actually make it easier for such a person to get home to Ambridge, if they worked outside the village.
