Hayley should have got compensation for constructive dismissal from LL so a nice deposit on a rental (did she? never quite clear on this). There will be loads of nannying jobs in Borsetshire. And after the divorce there would be half of half of Willow Farm so she might even be able to buy (shared ownership with HA?)

2. it would be boring
3. female characters don't need to be defined by their relationships with men and the associated fall out

It wasn't a teepee. It was a tipi. Apparently that's what they have at Glasto.

Phonetically it's all the same.

The t-p village is now in a different field at Glasto so Phoebe would have been born in what is now the Block 9 field. These days it houses an all night gay bar and disco.

It was a tent of some sort and the BBC sent somebody to Glastonbury to record the birth announcement going out over the PA system. Kate had a traveller friend who she told Jennifer and Brian would be her birth attendant. Cue smelling salts all round until the friend mentioned that she was a qualified midwife.

Naming Phoebe was another big deal. Kate made everybody climb to the top of Lakey Hill a few weeks after the birth and she announced the name there, probably as the sun was rising or something like that.

I'm pretty certain that Hayley has never adopted Phoebe. So she has no legal standing in Phoebe's life, more's the pity.

Regarding Roy - he totally fucked up but I don't think he deserves all this.

I'm married to someone who was the phoebe in this situation and he says the one thing he wishes was that the cheated on parent/other family had said 'yes cheating parent did wrong and I'm incredibly hurt, but they're still your parent, they still love you and they still want the best for you'

With the hindsight of an adult he can see the way it was dealt with was almost as damaging as the family breakdown. So when I listen to this I don't think phoebe should move home for Roy but for herself
