How about we immortalise Schrodinger's Baby in the opening paragraph?

How long will this thread last DadDadDad?

The other thing that will happen at my fantasy hunt ball is that Helen will be heard screaming, 'Oh, YES, Master!!!!!' from behind the arras.

cheminotte · 03/10/2014 07:08

I need someone to post what music is playing in the background and the significance as I'm useless with music and can never make out the lyrics as well as the conversation.

HamAndPlaques · 03/10/2014 07:25

I'm watching Postman Pat with DD. Mrs Goggins sounded awfully familiar, so a quick check - it's Carole Boyd, aka Lynda Snell. Most pleasing!

LillianGish · 03/10/2014 07:54

Was John Tregorran buried or cremated? If Carol did him in with her potions hoping for an inheritance she got a nasty surprise. What or who does she want to bury in the garden at Glebe Cottage? I doubt she'll be able to get anything past Bert Fry - cannabis plants, disturbed earth whatever. Sorry SW, but Carol telling us Roy is a good looking man is too little too late when he's been portrayed as polyester-clad hobbit for years. Ian on the other hand is clearly irresistible from the sound of his voice alone.

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 03/10/2014 07:57

unitarian Tradition demands that Helen should only scream "Yes Master!" to Oliver.... Which would be interesting.

Confused>Oliver

Shock>Caroline

Angry >Rob

But surely Adam was behind the arras in Charlie's car?

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 03/10/2014 08:03

It'll be Bert buried in a raised bed if he crosses her....

Are you settling in Lil'G?

PseudoBadger · 03/10/2014 08:04

Ham she does almost all the women's and children's voices in Postman Pat.

I have no idea if this is true but I feel like she must be really nice and a good laugh in RL

LillianGish · 03/10/2014 08:10

Settling in better than I could have imagined Zero. Radio 4 on the IPad, Paris when I open the door - couldn't be happier.

PetulaGordino · 03/10/2014 08:36

ooh lovely lil!

paris in the runup to christmas will be lovely. i left paris on christmas eve, and on 23rd december i wandered up and down the champs elysées and rivoli looking at the lights, lêched the vitrines of the designer shops in rue de saint-honoré and place vendôme, queued for what seemed like hours at ladurée for macarons... it was totally clichéed but lovely

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 03/10/2014 08:45

I thought the beers were drunk in the tractor cab which is clearly palatial

Adam clearly gets turned on by a man who can drive a tractor well

I think Ian will be quietly written out. There'll be an off air showdown and he will scurry away to avoid having to listen to yet more scorned spouse talk.

If they are using this as a compare and contrast to Hayley and Roy I will be extremely disappointed.

I also think this says a lot about the sw. Thy clearly think workplace relationships are de rigeur.

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 03/10/2014 09:26

I was having a look at the 60th anniversary website linked to somewhere above - Ambridge people do seem to pair up as a result of work related activity quite often.

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 03/10/2014 09:33

I'm crossing my fingers in the hope that Adam has said a polite "No thank you Master."

Icimoi · 03/10/2014 09:49

I wish the SWs wouldn't always make it Adam being tempted away from his marital vows. Why can't it be Ian for a change? Seems only fair.

ppeatfruit · 03/10/2014 09:55

Have just caught up with the last 2 eps. I knew you lot 'd be going on about the 'secret' between Carol and Lizzie HOW LONG WILL IT STAY A SECRET? Grin of course feebs is going to let it out (and if Hayley and RR had any effin sense they'd 've realised Freddie 's told her already)

Lizzie will find out it's all round the village and will blame Carol Grin.

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 03/10/2014 09:57

Because Adam's the Archer descendant. Anything happening to him affects the entire clan. Ian's infidelity would have no wider repercussions (beyond GG employment.)

unitarian · 03/10/2014 09:57

I want to be a fly on the wall when Susan finds out all that's been going on of a scandalous nature without her clocking any of it.

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 03/10/2014 10:02

I think Susan will be struck dumb as she struggles to tell people everything she's found out!!

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 03/10/2014 10:03

(Just as, if Hayley had had an affair, there would be no complications re Phoebe etc. Hayley would just disappear and everything else stay the same. But Roy's the one with the Archer relationship through Kate and Phoebe. And Phoebe's related to Lower Loxley too! It's all so deliciously complicated.)

So - will we be done by 6.50 this evening? Would ddd get some sort of prize???

PseudoBadger · 03/10/2014 10:04

So did Carol try and treat John's illness with herbal medicines and fail?

OP posts:
ZeroSomeGameThingy · 03/10/2014 10:06

My apologies for slow typing and cross posting should get us there...Hmm

PetulaGordino · 03/10/2014 10:11

the CA said last night that phoebe would be talking to hayley tonight, so i guess hayley is going to find out that phoebe knows?

unitarian · 03/10/2014 10:19

Working on the principle that the harm's already done, might Lizzie be thinking of shacking up with Roy after all?

unitarian · 03/10/2014 10:30

She did sound so woebegone - and it would save her a bob or two in compensation........

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 03/10/2014 10:40

All I heard from Lizzie was

boo hoo hoo, poor ME, why do these terrible things always happen to ME, why am I always blamed for my actions, waah waah everyones being mean, don't they know I'm a widow

All I hear from Hayley is

la la la, i'm not listening, nothing abnormal has happened, I'm not pretending everything is alright because everything is alrigh

And tonight Phoebe will have a go at Hayley for being weak and forgiving him and it might give her a wake up call
