New thread for hopefully an exciting Sunday episode. Poor Hayley.

OP posts:

I always thought will was a goody two shoes but never particularly awful.

Maybe rj will have a fight with rob and be banished only to return victorious once the paternity test comes through

Or rob will take him under his wing and have him as an allie

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 09/09/2014 19:05

Hoorah! A pargeter thinks of Hayley at last!

Looks like Roy is unemployed

GypsyFloss · 09/09/2014 19:05

Hahaha Roy the Hobbit. Nicely put Freddie.

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 09/09/2014 19:09

Undiagonosed dyslexia?

BasketzatDawn · 09/09/2014 19:12

What DOES Lily call Roy? I missed it as someone spoke. Shock Not as choice as some of our names, I'll bet.

Is Mike an Ambridgeite born and bred, or an incomer? Just wondering ...

lljkk · 09/09/2014 19:12

uh oh (the bull)

lljkk · 09/09/2014 19:13

take it back, how naff!! Instant affinity for cattle. Meh.

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 09/09/2014 19:13

He's a natural!

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 09/09/2014 19:13

He's a natural of course!

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 09/09/2014 19:15

Even perfect John couldn't have done it!

unitarian · 09/09/2014 19:17

Gollum
Grin

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 09/09/2014 19:29

Lily called roy a hobbit and fred said he was more like gollum

guess roy will get his marching orders tomorrow. if i were him i would confess all to hayley (painting lizzie in a terrible predatory light) and then call usha

BasketzatDawn · 09/09/2014 19:46

Do we take from that that Rotaboy doesn't buy his rags in Tall and Big? I never had him down as a short arse. And when did Freddie catch a glimpse of Rota's toes? .

It could still go wrong for LL and Lizzie. Hayley takes Rota's side, wants to keep her marriage together at all cost, both sue LL and Lizzie for constructive dismissal. LL and Liz ruined, along with F and L's futures. Is that a possibility in the real world? I hope Hayley will take on 'tiger traits' in the face of it all. Only time will tell.

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 09/09/2014 19:52

maybe hayley will stand by roy in order to bring liz down and then dump his sorry arse

but she's probably too nice to do that

bassingtonffrench · 09/09/2014 20:12

Can someone explain to me why johnny is also known as rich ? Confused

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 09/09/2014 20:18

He was named Rich by his mother but has recently decided to change his name to his late fathers

TheOneWiththeNicestSmile · 09/09/2014 20:21

His name was John Richards; then Sharon married Eamonn Phillips who adopted him & now he's John Phillips.

Rich was his nickname from Richards but his name was always John

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 09/09/2014 20:36

bassington His full name is "Soon-to-be-Rich-John"...

Because having been "Rich" all his life he unfathomably decided to use his proper name just as Tom disappeared from view. So it was obvious he would be coming back to Bridge Farm - and would therefore inherit the earth all the good things therein. So more "Rich" as "John"(ny)...

Am I making any sense?

(Was possibly the thread before last...)

mrsmaturin · 09/09/2014 20:37

I thought Rich/Johnny's affinity with the cattle was really sweet. It is certainly observable in farming families that some offspring have a natural rapport with the animals. Those who don't, go in to arable Grin.
Lovely for Tony to see a trait of his son, who is gone forever, in his grandson.

CuttedUpPear · 09/09/2014 20:50

Ultimate cheesey plotline with RichJohn's unmined talent with cows.
How predictable.

BasketzatDawn · 09/09/2014 21:09

It is cheesy but it's nice to hear some joy at Bridge farm at last. It won't continue of course ....

BasketzatDawn · 09/09/2014 21:12

Technical question: is there a farmer or a vet in the house? What exactly would 82-year old Jill have done as '2nd midwife' with the 2AM calving last week. And is a fit 82 year old up to it? Is it a strenuous activity necessarily?

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 09/09/2014 21:14

maybe she was just getting hot water, towels and tea?

it would be nice if richjohn proved to be a positive addition but I don't think the new sw can do positive

i guess they are doing a slow burn story when tom comes back and is told he's lost his position

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 09/09/2014 21:21

If mike and vicky sell the house - what happens to Brenda's inheritance?

Note they haven't called her to discuss. Given how supportive she was of vicky you think they would think of her?

Now Tom has gone there's no reason she shouldn't come back?

BoreOfWhabylon · 09/09/2014 21:26

Ah, but has he got up close and personal with pigs yet?
