I can't be the only listener who, on hearing Lizzie talking last night about 'dog-ends' behind the whatever, heard 'dogging'.
I realised my mistake only today when listening to the episode again. Clearly with my rubbish hearing and my 'gnat brain' I need to listen at least twice to each epi. Then tonight, RotaBoy mentioned it again and it sounded like 'dogging' again.

I love the PumaCougar idea. Carol is good, I hope she decides to move back to the village. She has a very clear view of them all .....

While in essence I agree with the way that the smoking teens were dealt with, I just can't stand Roy's new bolshiness. He is most horrid.

That's the problem with the Roy/Elizabeth thing. Not that he would find a vivacious grieving widow who he works with every day attractive but that he would be totally devoted to his wife and kids until he gets a shag in a tent at which point he becomes the world's biggest fan of adultery.

I think Elizabeth is going to end up sacking him for harassing her and he won't be able to tell Hayley why and she will urge him to see a solicitor and he will and it will all come out in an industrial tribunal.......

I think in his own mind Roy is already Freddie's new dad. I think he is going to blurt to Hayley, wreck his marriage only for Elizabeth to reject him. Wondering if she might have a thing with PC Plot now he and Fallon have split up.
I did think it was funny that Plot objected to Jazzer flagging him down on the basis that he was on duty - wondered if the SWs had slipped that one in to appease those of us who had suggested he never does any work!

The whole PC Plot thing is so unrealistic......nice community bobbies that amble around the village making sure all is correct just do not exist any more! The only time we see the police in my village is the rare occasion when they are en route somewhere with sirens on.

you only ever see PCSOs in my village if you see anyone. there's so rarely anything serious enough to warrant a PC! there was a bit of a spat over a fence the other day and a PCSO turned up (not sure who called) for some "community reassurance"

Hmm... When Jill was burgled I'm sure someone from the writing team said in an obsure interview that it was the start of a fairly gruelling long-term story. I assumed the story was about Jill and her eyesight - but perhaps they were referring to the introduction of Plod and the gruelling storyline will be something requiring an on-site PC. Like Charlie's murder.

I prefer him grown up and angry to whiny and pleading but he does now seem to believe he's the true born seigneur of LL rather than "just" the hired manager
