I too am about Canada featuring yet again. And a friend who married a Canadian a few years ago and moved there had a long wait before she could get a work visa. Possibly different if the AmbridgeFairy has sorted you a job already, complete with refs, etc. It's good that Pat will have somewhere to go to if Tony keeps moaning and gets on her wick. That way too she'll find it's not ,on the other side of the world, if your starting point is Ambridge.

Loma, I too like what Laurie T says, but I do find his voice and mannerisms a tad annoying. I lurv Eddie Mair though.
