Hey hey Fun easy on the old spoilers!

Bluestocking · 23/02/2014 09:14

I'm so happy to have found my spiritual sisters! Smile
Do we have any idea how Vicky, Mike and Bethany are? It seems ages since we heard anything about them.

ComposHat · 23/02/2014 09:22

My memory is shocking, I can't remember how Moike and Vickoi met. Was it online?

AllMimsyWereTheBorogroves · 23/02/2014 09:23

At ballroom dancing, I think.

ComposHat · 23/02/2014 09:29

Oh yes, I forgot Moike was a bit nifty on his toes.

justiceofthePeas · 23/02/2014 09:53

HellRob EA works on FOG fear obligation guilt.
Hel already has the obligation (she lives in his house and burnt her bridge farms) and he CHOSE her
guilt because of Jess and everyone knowing she was OW.

So with the row...bring the fear. Sad

Ot is interesting though that they backed off the Paul EA storyline and then brought this in soon after.

And for the person way up thread who said would you be able to tell from the outside, the indicators would be things like H being very conscientious about making sure everything was ready for Rob getting home etc. and not making any decisions without checking with him first.

And Tom mwahahahaha. he really is Mr Tactless.

GypsyFloss · 23/02/2014 09:54

One eyed Moike , the cha-cha-cha King.

ComposHat · 23/02/2014 10:03

Yes and Helen ises the exact same techniques on her parents.

Obligation- she is their daughter

Fear - the implicit threat of do x or you will cause me tobecome ill again

Guilt - that they have failed as parents and farmers (tony especially)

guineapiglet · 23/02/2014 10:17

hi all
bluestocking I worry about Mike and family! Alice and and Chris? Adam and Ian?.
...and.. most worryingly, is where on earth is Daryl?????

Bluestocking · 23/02/2014 10:27

YY re Darrell, where on earth has he gone?

SomewhereBeyondTheSea · 23/02/2014 10:45

Blue - "quavery but imperiously Thatcherite" - Grin bang on!

And Caroline - lol at your granny. I'm going to do that when I get older. Must start accumulating hideous ornaments.

SomewhereBeyondTheSea · 23/02/2014 10:46

And let's not inquire too closely into Darryl's location, the scriptwriters might think we want him back.

campion · 23/02/2014 10:47

Why is Helen selling wedding dresses?

Why isn't Kirsty's Mum/sister/auntie/neighbour/dog helping her to choose?

PseudoBadger · 23/02/2014 10:57

Stop asking about Darrell! They'll hear you!

OP posts:
lljkk · 23/02/2014 10:58

I would be happy for Darrell to have a long sabbatical...

am still confused about Kirsty & the dress. Is it because she's a hopeless romantic?

HumphreyCobbler · 23/02/2014 11:08

ComposHat, you are so right about Helen and the FOG

just listened again and the bit about changing the bed linen

cheminotte · 23/02/2014 11:25

The bed changing scene was a bit bleurgh but also pretty normal. I didn't hear any ominous undertones to it.

daisychain01 · 23/02/2014 11:26

Am a happy bunny finding this thread as Im an avid Archers fan!

As regards the current Creepy Rob SL, I felt as if he was gaslighting Hell-in when he made such a massive fuss and boak about the tuna.

Im just 100% suspicious of literally everything he does and says.

There is speculation he will slowly and evil-like over a long time turn Henry against his mother.

Btw I agree with northern Ambridge Extra is shite!

daisychain01 · 23/02/2014 11:28

Apologies it was compos who thinks AExtra is shite Grin

TheRaniOfYawn · 23/02/2014 11:45

Don't we all think it's shite?

TemperamentalAroundCorvids · 23/02/2014 11:55

I thought the bed linen scene was well done - and showed two people vying for control of the other's actions. Rob the winner on points.

Bumply · 23/02/2014 12:13

I thought the bed scene was rob doing some planning to make Helen think him being secretive and not letting her see his phone will always have happy surprise connotations rather than keeping ow secret.

HumphreyCobbler · 23/02/2014 12:40

To me, the bed scene was boak worthy due to Helen's attempt at arch flirtation.
"or don't you mind being beaten by a woman Rob..."

arghhhhhh

on so many levels

SomewhereBeyondTheSea · 23/02/2014 12:46

I thought the bed scene made Helen a little bit OCD ... 'do it THIS way ....'

ppeatfruit · 23/02/2014 13:52

ASFAIK Darrell is happily ensconced in the 'done up' van type thing, which is on "The Stables" land I'm pleased he's there and not on TA Grin anyone want him back then?

I'm hoping there'll be a denouement of the HellRob plot involving Jess and Hell getting together and 'setting up' the industrial dairy king. Leading him to lose his job and BOTH the women Grin as well as the house. (evil grin)
