I'd love the police to turn up making enquiries about his missing wife, followed by him doing emotional tv appeals for her safe return whilst Hellqueen berates him about who/ whom he really loves. Finishing up with him being done for her murder and dumping her body in a flooded culvert. Killing two birds in one go with the depatching of Jess and a topical insert in one go

I fear the lies may be less dramatic - that she did go back to mother following the party disaster, but that she thinks she left on her own terms and that at some point she'll decide to reappear to forgive him (again)
