Here's a really ancient bit of Archers history:
Phil's first wife Grace (No Grace don't go in to the burning stable to save Midnight'.......crashing sounds 'GRACEEEEEEEEEEE!') had a half brother Robin who Elizabeth had a fling with. Jill could not bring herself to meet him according to my Archers book. That's right she couldn't bring herself to meet the half brother of her husband's dead wife who had been dead for 30 years at that point.......

Adam's heqd injury is going to turn straight. Ifty is going to move in with Ian. Alan is going to kill Carl. Usha will defend him and get him off, but will find true love with Adam. Alan will then become a hermit.

Who does that leave spare.... oh yes, Amy. She is going to have a fling with Kenton- the Jolene thing was never going to last. Then Rochelle will move in on Brian, who has been monogamous for longer than is feasible with his track record.

Annabel will move in with Jenny who has turned gay after leaving Brian.

Why can't Usha just point out the obvious, as in: "you were fecking stupid Amy, we've all had our hearts broken and it's not my fault that you shagged a married man. And Alan, you need to man up, and stop behaving like a teenager. No one has died. Your daughter has been dumped, do you want to lose your wife over it?"

I suspect that Usha will be leaving the vicarage soon. She appears to be the third person in her marriage.
