OP posts:
missmapp · 15/01/2012 17:19

Id be tired if I had to live with Helen! HAdnt noticed, but will listen out, maybe they kill him off and JAAAAAAAHns son comes in to take over the farm!!

cryhavoc · 15/01/2012 17:22

I thought this on the day of Pat's party. Talk of 'feeling weary'. To be fair, I can't stand Tony, Pat or their horrible children, so wouldn't be too upset.

Northernlurker · 15/01/2012 17:26

It's probably a red herring. They do that sometimes. What we all should have noticed will be a small but significant remark that indicates total armageddon - like Clarrie being off colour. Did anybody think 'ah e-coli' then? I certainly didn't.

Mind you nigel falling off the roof had HUGE signposts pointing the way.

missmapp · 15/01/2012 17:31

Yes like ' Oh David I so love Izzie, this roof is fantastic, my father showed me every inch as a child, i cant wait to show freddie etc, etc, it was the longest death scene ever. Still wish they hadnt killed him off though, Lizzie would have been much less missed.

Northernlurker · 15/01/2012 18:01

They led up to it for weeks.

'oooh nigel is that banner a good idea'

'ooo nigel lets have an idyllic party here on 2nd Jan with all the cast family''

'oooh nigel you were marvellous in the pantomime and you've given me a lovely brooch. lets have lots of blissfully happy married sex' (may have made up the last bit)

'oooh nigel don't go on the roof it's so icy and windy you'd be bound to fally off and dash out your brains on your own ancient paving'

I agree - Lizzie makes my teeth itch.

brassick · 16/01/2012 03:02

I thought exactly the same about Tony, when they said he was weary... nothing is ever said for no reason on any soap in my experience.

heronsfly · 16/01/2012 11:28

I thought the same about Tony, and he asked Tom if he could do the milking for him,( Tom obviously had better things to do as usual )
I wonder if this will lead up to a near death bed reunion with John Rich.

Theas18 · 16/01/2012 11:32

Yup Tony will drop dead, pat'll top her self. The whole show will be taken over by Tom and hellqueen with cooking by Brenda and I really will stop listening!!

I wish Brookfield would sort out their slurry worry. Listening to it night after night with associated whining from Pip and Josh is starting to grate.

Tony must be going. One of the paper-thin plot lines that they love to sprinkle around.

FIFIBEBE · 17/01/2012 19:16

Semi hijack but related to Tony's renovations! Why can't Gary help? Lots of mentions of how useless he is, but is there something more? Agree Tony is tired.

Northernlurker · 17/01/2012 21:05

It's Neil (married to Susan, father of Emma and Chris) who is renovating his father in laws house so he can get his sister in law moved in and out of his house. Gary (Susan's brother) is not helping because with the exception of Susan all the Horrobins are work shy, useless or criminal - or all three. Even Susan's done time......

FIFIBEBE · 18/01/2012 08:02

Sorry got my Tony and Neil mixed up there. The moaning from Tony would mean it would never get done.

ppeatfruit · 20/01/2012 09:31

Yeah Northern and Gary is so useless he left his niece and nephew waiting at school while boozing (mind you if I was Traceeeey i wouldn' have let my crap bother any where nr my L.Os would you ?)

I reckon tony is a red herring IMO Brian's heading for a heart attack in the middle of his factory dairy serve him right DOWN WITH FACTORY FARMING !!!!

Northernlurker · 20/01/2012 20:43

Maybe Brian will disinherit the traitorous Adam before his demise - leaving Jenny torn between her adored son and adored daughter and her adored child of husband's lover - oh yes and the other daughters too......

ppeatfruit · 21/01/2012 11:22

Grin There's a definite tearing sound between Adam and Debbie anyway isn't there? I can't remember if Debbie's actually Brian's or not, I know Adam isn't.

DilysPrice · 21/01/2012 11:25

Neither Debbie nor Adam are Brian's children - Adam was the product of a fling with a farm worker I think, and Debbie is the child of Jennifer's ghastly first husband.

Northernlurker · 21/01/2012 11:47

Brian adopted Debbie and she uses his name and calls him Dad. Adam uses his step-father's name (or part of it) and calls Brian 'Brian' Grin If you pushed him I expect he would say he regards Debbie as his child and Adam as his step-son. Brian had a big thing about having a boy and whilst of course he loves Kate and Alice, Alice's sex in particular was a disappointment. This made it all the more bitter for Jennifer that Siobhan produced a son.

ppeatfruit · 22/01/2012 10:04

OOh thanks Dilys and northern I knew about Ruarhii (sp)?! but that's very interesting about the differences in the relationships of Brian to Debbie and Adam a recipe for trouble IMO.

shouldbeelswhere · 22/01/2012 10:12

oh why is Pip such a whinger? Yep I reacon Tony will drop dead any time now, as was mentioned previously the time is ripe with the phones out....
