@thinky I don't think today's was too easy but I'm GMT-8hrs here so I was doing yesterday's (easier) puzzle at 1am today, UK time 🙂

@CobraChicken Thanks for pointing that out – I didn't spot it previously. Yesterday's was the one out of five difficulty I remember 😄

I felt less inadequate once I realised that people Google and use hints. Obviously I still feel inadequate-but less.

I didn't know people Googled! Where's the fun in that? It's the head scratching bit I enjoy.

TBH I'm waiting for them to go full on Plagiarist and launch a Missing Vowels quiz at some point.

@CountingCrones I figure it's only cheating if you don't admit to using hints or google. I'll occasionally google a word I don't recognise and it'll help make a connection. The hints are useful when absolutely desperate, and they are graded with very subtle hints to begin with which can provide an 'aha'. Otherwise a couple of wrong guesses and you're out which is even less fun
