A new thread is my Christmas gift!

I use ‘crane’ too. And depending on what that gives I have a regular second word to use. I’m not bothered about getting it in one. More interested in getting a decent streak. Currently at 297.

I played FLUTE as my starter word for nearly two years. My other ones were VIOLA and BANJO. I'm choosing random starter words at the moment with a Christmas/Winter theme :)

Some interesting ideas for starter words here! Mine varies according to my mood. I always used to use ‘irate’ but then, as another poster pointed out, have had more success using words with less vowels and more consonants. My go to words are now ‘paste’ ‘close’ and ‘trace’.

Love the title 😄 a White Wordle would be perfect right now.
Took me a few guesses today — felt simple at first but the letters didn’t fall into place as easily as I expected. Still one of the best parts of the daily routine.
