We borrowed my sisters Graco when DS2 was born as her car seat had one of those bases you leave in the car and was ideal for shopping. DS1 used to sit on the parent tray as well when his legs got tired. It was fab.

I've been spoilt with all the prams I've had though and don't think I could use one now.

Bexie, love the colour of your one.

I would like to nuke Graco Citisports, or this particular one anyway. Even if I did win it on ebay for a penny, lol.

i wouldn't call that a 'bargain' HMG just couldn't imagine using one of those at all

urgh sorry hideous, I can't stand graco either - apologies if I shouldn't say that. I'm with you Nic, would rather have an XT and I'm same carrycot lover!!

I fancy an XT - never had one, will be only Mac now i haven't tried

I would happily use it now if I didn't live in flat. Already fell down the stairs once carrying it. Erin gets mistaken for a boy enough as it is in the car seat, let alone using the pram!

you should've added a warning before I looked at that horror

I'd like a MB in plum, even though I'm not fussed on the one I have, I'm rather partial to any shade of purple (that's ok for a boy isn't it??)

My friend I met today has that argos one, awful, can't be comfortable for a little one, real bone shaker I think??

Oh HMG, my friend has one o those (after getting refund on a Streety) and she loves it, but uses the bloody car seat even though she doesn't drive . Really horrible to push though. I bought one just after DS1 was born as couldn't bump the huge pram I had up and down 2 flights of stairs. It was ok, but quickly bought a Mac.

This was my first pram, but in grey and white. I loved that pram, gave it to a charity shop.

That's lovely 5inthebed, I love proper prams

Pram snobs LOL!
Well I think if you are short on the cash it's a fab bargain. The car seat base is like £20!

The carrycot bit was lovely, very big and both DS1 and DS2 were in it .

Wish I'd bought a proper pram for DS3, I bought a naff Chicco one and a M&P Luna, even though I had the pick of anything I wanted. Bloody DH pushing me to buy one

no i don't think it is a bargain! there's so much better you can get on a budget. Think we'll have to agree to disagree on this one!

I don't know why I didn't get a plum MB for Tom though .

Report
nicolamumof3 · 14/05/2010 23:02

ok well car seat fair enough but again i'd worry if those graco ones are ok. maybe im a carseat snob too
I don't drive tho so i've never had or never would want a travel system.
If i had a £150 i would sooner buy a new maxi cosi and a second hand xt..seriously!

See I'm thinking of my niece, not much cash but she has her pride and wanted new.

Don't anyone mention green prams or HMG will run off screaming (I'm quite liking them at the moment!)

I think that's actually quite a lot for such a heap of crap buggy?? I have friends who are really into their clothes/shoes/bags, have the latest LV handbag, only wear VB jeans yet have really nasty pushchairs, but hey as we're always saying, it's up to you what you choose to spend your money on.

i just think there are so many bargains on ebay these days. so so many nearly new prams going for a song. I would also buy carseat from a friend that i knew history of as i've said i wouldn't use carseat v.much.
