Am I the first?

OP posts:

That just made me spit my drink out then. You should have your own show maxy so funny. It is all filled in like the material that you pull over on the elite x

maxybrown · 31/05/2010 18:56

Ah I see - so it is just all in one then?

I know what you mean about mesh - though I have to say, when it was roasting the other day, james was in it with just the mesh thingy there and it was fab at letting a breee go through whilst he was sleeping

basl · 31/05/2010 19:16

Yes there is that maxy but i used to get on my nerves. Poor thing as long as mums nerves not got on.

Went out for a wee push and i do love it. It is much lighter than elite with a few of the luxury bits missing but overall just the same. Very pleased and looks good with Flyme liner on although not made to fit but works well.

5inthebed · 31/05/2010 19:18

Evening ladies. I've been at a barbecue all day, kids knackered and all in bed now. Was lots of fun.

Basl, glad you finally got your pram, looks lovely. I've got a parent console that would fit that if you're interested?

maxybrown · 31/05/2010 19:19
Grin
maxybrown · 31/05/2010 19:19

I have this impresiion by the way that because no one else is on here - we are a bit statler and waldorf

basl · 31/05/2010 20:25

Oh 5in yes please. Is it one for the jogger or sunshine one as i have one of those. How much please marieturner 5 at btinternet dot com. Thankyou so much.
Bet everyone would not dare say they were not sure about it knowing how long this has taken me

Maxy are you suggesting we are muppets I had to google that you know. Always learning on the pushchair shed.

5inthebed · 31/05/2010 20:32

Oh it's the sunshine one. Never mind. I'm not using it atm as doesn't fit well on the micralite and quest just in the car.

Anyone watching Britains Got Freaks Talent?

basl · 31/05/2010 20:37

Oh it's ok 5in thanks for the offer anyway. Glad you had a nice day it was lovely here too. How are you getting on with the Micralite?

maxybrown · 31/05/2010 20:38

yes I am!

5inthebed · 31/05/2010 20:42

I like the micralite, although not really using it as drive mostly and quest getting more use really. Thinking of just selling it.

Bexie you still want first dibs if I do?

maxybrown · 31/05/2010 20:47

ooh are you 5in? I had a push of one last week - woman I talk to at toddler group has one and she let me have a push her mum picked it up for her in a charity shop for £20 it's in fabby condition too

DH and I are selling up (ha i wish) no we are selling loads of things including nearly our whole cd collection if anyone is after any cd's

carrielou2007 · 31/05/2010 20:47

Evening, sorry I missed Nicola going, I bet she is sipping wine around that lovely pool as we speak

It was my birthday yesterday, hence the silence. Had a lovely day, lovely walk with dc and their dad by a lake with ducks and swans then had my family over and I cooked them dinner and dd and I made my dad a birthday cake (his was fri). DC's dad rings me in the evening asking why I did dinner when I told him and when I said 'for my birthday' he just said 'oh'. He then came over with a bottle of cava (my glass was yummy) and fell asleep whilst I was trotting upstairs all evening wrestling ds to bed.

Grump over today

Basl so glad you have gotten there in the end --for- how long

Crikey those gymnasts are good!

basl · 31/05/2010 20:50

I think when you drive it makes all the difference. That is why Norma sold her Elite as she never really walked much now iykwm. It would be great to have just one stroller
It was so funny as Daniel hates on the swings at the park and hates his little trike when it is all enclosed so when i put the bumper bar on the pushchair he was screaming as i was shoving him in but after a little walk his grandad was lol and thought he looked like he was on a roller coaster as he was hanging over the bar then putting both hands in the air and shouting wooooo hooooo.

Maxy i am more like Miss piggy to be honest Hiiiyyyaaaa

maxybrown · 31/05/2010 20:53

basl - remember that about Miss piggy won't you! Mrs!

basl · 31/05/2010 21:06

Mmmmmm maybe more like kermit then eh.
Carrie Happy Birthday and glad you had a nice day and Evening. I won't comment too much on the cava story as i would be a hypocrite? Yes i am delighted with the classic and it is a keeper unless they come up with a bjcm with air tyres. I love the fact he has so much room and the back rest is tall and well it is just what i was after.

5inthebed · 31/05/2010 21:06

£20

I wish I could find a bargain like that.

Happy belated birthday Carrie

basl · 31/05/2010 21:19

5in when i think about some of the pushchairs i have just about given away it does make me feel a bit such a lot of money wasted. The couple that came to view the Elite where trying to get the buggysnuggle which was immaculate and the bjce raincover which was not included all for £150.00 The girl was really funny about it but it did state buggysnuggle not included. The elite was like new and not a mark on it so yeah i am never lucky to find any bargains.

maxybrown · 31/05/2010 21:29

Happy Birthday carrielou - belated anyway.

Now then a BJCM with air tyres - now you're talking just like the bebe confort air trophy - that's what they need to do.

I know 5in - I did say jammy thing. She is not a pram hun though

basl · 31/05/2010 21:43

Maxy how are you getting on with selling up? Yes the bjcm with air tyres would be like the mountain buggy swift ??? I really wanted that but plo mucked up my refund and i could not pay but glad now i have my baby jogger again as i did not know how i would get along with the MB.

maxybrown · 31/05/2010 21:59

well I haven't tried much yet have pile of clothes waiting to be photographed. need to decide on a price for my wii and then sort cd's out.....phew! Mountain buggy swift has big tyres doesn't it?

maxybrown · 31/05/2010 22:00

the bebe confort trophy has stroller sized wheels but they are little air tyres so sweet

BexieID · 31/05/2010 22:03

Swift tyres are 10" I think, BJCM are smaller?

Maxt, so annoyed with myself. Recorded 1st part of Going Postal yesterday and it wasn't till 7pm that I remembered 2nd part on tonight, grr. I know it's all repeated on friday and 1st part is on Sky 2, but didn't see if they were showing the 2nd part on it's own. I want to see it too. Might see if DP can d/l it for me.

BexieID · 31/05/2010 22:04

Maxy sorry

basl · 31/05/2010 22:15

Yeah the swift has 10" tyres and the bjcm are smaller. But it is narrower than the classic but not such a tall seat and not such a great hood.
