Hi there!

OP posts:
maxybrown · 25/01/2010 21:38

James' middle name is Eadric

StrictlyKatty · 25/01/2010 21:50

Hahah Carrie I would actually AIM for DS's name to be a little bit pretensious!

You'll never get DS's middle name. I think he was the only one who had it in 2008 Named after my hero

5inthebed · 25/01/2010 22:08

Come on SK, do tell

horsemadgal · 26/01/2010 00:21

Aww carrie, I love the name Archie.
I always wanted a horse called Archie but the only boy horse I had was a bit girly looking so named him Rowan.

SK, Cruise, Elvis or Nik???

Bexie, hope the infacol works. Gripe water handy to have, I like a glug of that myself!

maxybrown · 26/01/2010 09:05

Sorry Nicola I have just seen that you asked me a question last night about DS!!

If I asked him if he wants milk or juice, he will say gmph (as if from the back of his throat) and point to the one he wants. Even from being little I have always enforced whatever he points to but all to no avail! TBH, I rarely have to give him a choice as he has already decided in his head before I get to it!! He generally gets a cup out and pushes a chair over to the side to start making it he just doesn't need me apart from when he is awake in the night of course........lol.

I will try and show you a video of his funny speaking!! It is very hard to type the way he sounds.

Disenchanted3 · 26/01/2010 09:16

Bexie do you want the baby girls bits? am off to post office later cheers x

Ceolas · 26/01/2010 18:47

Hi Ladies, sorry to barge in...

I was looking for your advice on selling a Maclaren xlr. It's my mum's but she's looking for something smallish since she's had back trouble recently. Do you think better to try selling on here or ebay? It's in great shape

FlyMeToDunoon · 26/01/2010 18:55

Hello everyone.
Ceolas a couple of XLRs have been on the ads boards here recently but I don't know if they sold here. No ebay fees here of course.
It isn't a marsh green one is it cos then I will bite your hand off!

nicolamumof3 · 26/01/2010 19:31

I just sold my xlr on ebay literally tonight was 2m old sold for £189 plus post.

was in good condition a couple of small scuffs to handles and wear to wheels fabrics and chassis all as new r/c and apron too.

Im down to my quest and nipper and happier i think i was finding xlr heavy was straining my wrists.

FlyMeToDunoon · 26/01/2010 19:37

Oh my goodness Nicola that was a good price - yes?

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 26/01/2010 19:46

yeah i was quite pleased with that. had over 20 watchers so i thought it would go for that this week. Nearly pays for the boys wardrobes and i saw a load of new clothes i like for Tom today so i can get them now (nice to not spend on a buggy!) DH was stunned!!!

5inthebed · 26/01/2010 19:48

Fab price Nicola!

I want to buy the boys a whole new wardrobe, would love the money, but having to fork out for a car!

nicolamumof3 · 26/01/2010 19:54

i saw loads today in peacocks for Tom! Really fab stuff for older boys 5in have you got one near you? Tom goes on school trip this year so he's going to need some cheap but nice clothes for that iykwim then two days after he returns we are off to kefalonia for a fortnight...bring it on!! canoot wait for that.

FlyMeToDunoon · 26/01/2010 20:21

Where's Tom going?
DD1 is going to Isle of Wight.
It is costing a small fortune.

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 26/01/2010 20:36

France, its £350 for the week inc. food and everything. nothing extra to pay for so i thought that wasn't bad.

FlyMeToDunoon · 26/01/2010 20:53

DD1's trip costs the same to us but is also subsidided by the PTA so costs even more. I think it was £100 or more extra.
Lots of activities.

OP posts:
5inthebed · 26/01/2010 21:07

I've got a few things from Peacocks before, but it's a bit of a journey there without a car. Might go next weekend and buy DS1 some new clothes as he seems to have had a growth spurt and needs everyhting!

maxybrown · 26/01/2010 21:13

ooh yes what colour XLR is it Ceolas?
