Basl, could you put pics on a trail please? How much would you be wanting?

horsemadgal · 22/11/2009 23:30

LOL Bexie, cross posted with you there.

BexieID · 22/11/2009 23:34

I'm just lazy, lol. Thought it would be better than wheeling bubs back in P&T or cdrive!

citybranch · 22/11/2009 23:46

I was watching that double MB too, couldn't believe it went for less than 37...had sheepskin liners too I think, and in the listing they would have packed for a courier.

Don't need a double really anymore so going to have misdee's lovely college stripe single MB. Just trying to persuade DH to let me get her rainbow buggy snuggle too.

I've never had a BS before!

We have found a CM for DD when I return to work in March (hoping to just increase DS nursery hours). She only lives 2 roads away, but i'm thinking of getting a little zapp or zia for CM to use and keep in her porch.

Buggy parameters changing yet again LOL

StrictlyKatty · 23/11/2009 07:32

Good Morning. Been up for ages already with DS

It's so wet and miserable here.

janx · 23/11/2009 08:24

Hi SK - I was up too early with ds - 5.30am is not a good time - got to go work as well - going to be yawning all day

janx · 23/11/2009 08:26

Orange is a great colour - but it has to be the right shade - not lurid orange - more like a russet sort of autumnal colour.

maxybrown · 23/11/2009 08:47

Nope, I still can't do orange sorry! I have just spent ages stomping around as no internet access all of a sudden, router is fine but nothing.....took me a while to realise I had caught the switch on the laptop for the wireless internet. Oops! Duh.

janx · 23/11/2009 08:51

Ha - you sound like me ...dp laughs at me when I do something daft on the computer -

sal1309 · 23/11/2009 08:53

morning all.

janx orange sounds nice.

nicola glad u got your xlr on order.

well i still really need to sell my 4 seasons as desp for cash, but thinking of having a private gender scan and if i was having a boy i think i would keep it lol.

Off up to manchester at the weekend to visit my parents looking forward to that

maxybrown · 23/11/2009 08:57

I'll wave to you sal

I am usually fine with the computer, quite a technical person, which makes it even worse that it was just the switch on the laptop, divvy I am.

Nothing lined up here, LOADS of washing to do which I keep putting off, Tesco coming with the shopping....and a bit of pram looking at Even Dh said yesterday, hey there hasn't been anything new for a while.....IS HE ENCOURAGING ME??? LOL

StrictlyKatty · 23/11/2009 09:40

Sal I just read 'private gender scan' and then 'if it was a boy I'd keep it' and nearly chocked on my toast For a second I though you were actually annoucing to the world that you'd only keep the BABY if it was a boy. I know it would be too late for you now anyway, and as if you'd be so weird as to do that but my God did you just give me a shock

nicolamumof3 · 23/11/2009 09:41

morning all, maxy just emailed you

janx i like orange too..we had a lovely time away btw, but still missed kids and couldn't wait to come home, crazy.

terry just rang repair man they are coming tomorrow.

bexie i don't like that im afraid. what infant car seat do you have? if you have maxi cosi i'd be inclined to get zapp frame to plonk it on tbh. Are you still training tom to walk more?! lol

i remember trying to get Tate right of pushchair before luka was born, what a cruel mummy he had just learnt to walk at 16m and luka was born when he was 18m how nasty of me!! but i sooooo didn't want a double.

Knickers0nMaHead · 23/11/2009 10:26

sal1309 · 23/11/2009 12:48

But if its a girl I am going to go really pink again i think lol

knickers glad the mac has arrived are you happy with it

StrictlyKatty · 23/11/2009 13:33

Well I'm still waiting for my heart rate to reurn to normal Sal I nearly had a heart attack!

Does anyone have playmobil? DS has started showing an interest but DH says it's pointless as it doesn't connect with Duplo or Lego...

BexieID · 23/11/2009 13:33

Hehe, I have a Graco infant car seat unfortunately, lol. Otherwise i'd use the Micralite as a frame for a Maxi-Cosi seat! I won't spend £120 on that Graco trolley, lol.

Not doing too well with Tom walking. Mainly because I have to take the buggy with me and he just gets in it. I can't risk not taking it though as don't want to end up carrying him! He'll walk with me and daddy though, so he can walk!

Might start using P&T so I can wash the covers on cdrive/get the carrycot attached. Tom prefers his green buggy though, so maybe it will get him walking????

maxybrown · 23/11/2009 14:00

Ds loves playmobil, just starting to collect it. It is a bit like saying the bike doesn't connect with Duplo or Lego though as they are completely different things!! I think it's just because it's a small world item he is maybe saying that? Unless of course you just want to build on other things you have. We had a couple of bits, then when DS went to his SALT appt that's what he played with and loved it.

nicolamumof3 · 23/11/2009 15:51

i do get what your DH says SK as i love playmobil but its just too expensive and for them to get alot of use out of either of these things i think maybe its worth concentrating on one set?

maxybrown · 23/11/2009 16:09

It is Nicola, I agree. We have a good box of Duplo that came from the charity shop that I got when Ds was about 6 months old I think but it only cost £3.50 lol, DH laughed at me at the time. Plus playmobil we'll only get second hand too. I am hoping that as DS gets older his cousin will pass on all lego

But it all costs soooooooo much!! I loved playmobil whe I was little and lego......sure it wasn't so expensive then from Toy & Hobby does anyone else remember that shop?

Nicola, having a think about email! Thank you.

Right, off to make scones!!

StrictlyKatty · 23/11/2009 16:35

He's saying that Duplo has the people so there isn't any point having other little people if they can't be used together

Duplo is a bit boring though, just bricks really where as playmobil has pyramids and castle that they can actually just play with rather than build and take apart.

He only has the big box of Duplo and the police station and digger truck, but I have got the fire engine for Xmas so maybe it is too late to start another set

Maclaren · 23/11/2009 16:38

Hi All I have been lerking for a while as I had so much going on. I hope its ok for me to post? if anyone would prefer I didnt thats cool

You will not believe whats been going on here I think farming on Farmville and farmtown has got me through it Bexie x

After loosing Grandad my uncle tried to take his life but failed thank goodness! We had the scare with my Dad having Mouth cancer but thankfully he has been now given the all clear. Max has had Swine Flu, I have been in hospital with broncitic, Tom dropped the iron on his leg and burnt himself from his knee to his foot thats heeling nicely now but it was touch and go wether he would need a skin graft!

As you can see its just been horrid but things are on the up I am now on anti depressents (its amazing how good those little pills are) and I have now gone back to work three days working for my DH so no pressure Then last week I managed to get the bargain of all pushchairs

here

Turns out its a limited addition model as it has silver fabrics here it looks brilliant with Toms cowskin cosy toe!

So it looks like my luck is up have sold my Frog and black XT for £320 and am just having the silver Cam!

So I hope people dont mind me checking in? I have missed chatting and read yesterday people wondered where i was so though I would bit the bullet and speak lol x

Also I have missed your parcels Nicola Toms running oout of clothes!

basl · 23/11/2009 16:42

knickers the little green bag set on it's way first class today. Hope you are liking your quest. maxy I just about to pay for the nipper and i feel scared. How bad is that what a carry on. I saw one while out shopping and it does look good. I just hope it is for me or off i go again taking photos etc. I really don't want to part with the elite but i think the nipper will be more suitable with my front door. Fingers crossed.
