carrielou2007 · 13/11/2009 14:58

Ebay shop called vipbabyshop. Very thick and luxurious, just like m and p/john lewis but only 21.99 and post. Prob won't keep it long just to make the carrycot in the pram that bit cosier.

How cute is your DS Maxy!!!

Thanks everyone on the birthday wishes. Have a poorly DS2 and DH at home, so not the greatest of days.

BJCM arrived though . Love the smell of a new pram.

None of those near me I'm afraid.

Just need BS to get here, then will be all ready to go

BexieID · 13/11/2009 18:18

I do like most food, just hate the texture of mash. Am happy enough mashing boiled spuds on my plate, but hate it with milk and butter added.

Right now I fancy a cheeseburger from McDonalds, lol. The lamb is making me feel a bit sick smelling it, but it's usually my fav dinner. Almost time to dish up!

5inthebed · 13/11/2009 19:33

I hate lamb. Can't even stand the smell of it.

I'm just having some asparagus soup and crusty cheese bread. Yum.

FlyMeToDunoon · 13/11/2009 19:39

Maxy! It is like an old fashioned boiler suit isn't it.

maxybrown · 13/11/2009 20:07

Thanks for looking guys anyway.

Yes it's fab dunoon perfetc for all those important boy jobs that are VERY messy!! Oh and VERY important of course....

hi everyone, back from work early tonight so time for a little chat. 5in Happy birthday. carrielou2007 I feel so sad and happy about your cooking with dd. It souds lovely and i am so Olivia my dd would love to cook with me she always asks but i just can't manage it with her little brother daniel. He is so active and will not sit in high chair pram anything if he does not want. We are having a bit of a hard time in our family. Dd wants to do so much but her lil brother just takes every little bit of my energey and space. Her Grandad the one that introduced "having a benny" spends a fortune on arts crafts baking etc etc as his wife is in hospital full term and he adores Olivia. He has all the time in the world and when she asks if mummy can bake and do this and that i just can't as daniel is such hard work. carrielou2007 it made me feel so happy to here about the baking cakes as i would love to get something sorted in my household as my olivia would love that. sorry about the rant

nicolamumof3 · 14/11/2009 07:35

awww basl don't feel bad its part and parcel of having more than one child we are pulled in so many directions, it won't always be that way tho.

i totally understand where you are coming from as my youngest DS is a real handful he is all consuming! i feel the older two def missed out on my attention and opportunities the last couple of years, but things are becoming easier and now he's two he's in pre-school three mornings a week, so i get time just with DS2.

Morning ladies, im home alone today due to rain all day, park is waterloogged, have two littlies to entertain with no money, ideas??

basl · 14/11/2009 09:47

morning, thanks nic for your kind words. Dh is having a mid life crisis i think. He told me he is not enjoying his family life at the mo as he is working so hard and it is all a bit mad with him rushing in and then me rushing back out at night and daniel just cries so much we are all tired and stressed.
Anyway on a happier note Olivia is getting a little go on the computer she wants to do the charlie and lola game on the cbb's website. She loves the balamory game and this will give me time to play with daniel.

I tried lets all play at tidy the toy box. No tackers on that game

Disenchanted3 · 14/11/2009 09:52

Maxy would you take £12 gifted for converse?

nicolamumof3 · 14/11/2009 09:58

lol basl sounds like our house!!

carrielou2007 · 14/11/2009 10:07

Morning all.

Basl it's just lucky I have found something dd and I like to do together especially on ba weather days - she loves painting, colouring, drawing and sticking but I hate the mess of painting so we only really do that outside when it's sunny . We always go out for a walk every day desite the weather but when the weather is this bad it tends to just be to the local shops a mile away and back again!

We do a lot of reading together but it's only been in the last few months she is happy to spend time playing by herself without the constant need for me to play with her. She did nothing but cry for the first three months and I really thought she didn't like me until she was about 18 months.

It's going to be a massive change for her when the new baby comes and not sure I will have much time for anything much. Well timed with start of playgroup so she will get something to look forward to rather than mummy being tired, grumpy and snappy with her as I have no other help from anyone else.

nicolamumof3 · 14/11/2009 10:15

yes it is a huge shock for them when the baby arrives sometimes, i think Tate was so young i really don't think he noticed luka at first!! its only once he started moving around.
