Disenchanted3 · 11/11/2009 12:07

can anyone name a coourrier, a dhl £8 one

not sendinow or parcel2go pls

maxybrown · 11/11/2009 12:08

I had no email. My 1 item came today but I was going to buy it for DH anyway for Christmas - put it on my account so we will see, makes no difference to me (as was buying it anyway) so will say nothing! It was same price as everywhere else anyway. I think if you ask, they will DEF say no anyway....

Because, Nicola, the xlr black and champagne is lurrrvely that's why

Nice mittens Nicola I would roast in those though....oh and I can only ever buy childrens gloves to fit me

OP posts:
pebbles79 · 11/11/2009 13:14

I can only wear childrens gloves too - my hands are teeny and so out of proportion with the rest of me, lol!

XT is here . Have to say I'm not super excited by it but it's a stroller and I don't think I'll ever be excited by them lol. It's nice enough though and with being black it's very easily pimpable and it gives me the perfect combination with the Bee.

Divatheshopaholic · 11/11/2009 13:16

Hi all,
Maxy, parcel arrived today, as lush as always, also realised we live not far from each other we could meet up for coffee and let boys play
Nicola,those mittens are loo toasty
Dis and SK, i ordered littlewoods, but it only worked on 50. But additions and MW worked on no minimum spend. I think Littlewoods being greedy

nicolamumof3 · 11/11/2009 13:49

ummmm why didn't i know about this code ladies???

nicolamumof3 · 11/11/2009 13:54

i normally never fit gloves either, so thought mittens would be good, but that colour too pale i need some choc brown ones, or i might get some mummy mitts anyone tried them?

i am v.tempted by an xlr...why?? i din't like my last one. i find my footmuff drags a bit on xt i don't think that would happen as seat higher up on xlr, i need to try one out really for 24hrs!

horsemadgal · 11/11/2009 14:10

Tchibo doing those Kaiser like footmuffs again
here
Anyone had one?

FlyMeToDunoon · 11/11/2009 14:11

Shhepskin gloves are great but mittens just annoy me too much.
If Littlewoods let the orders go through it should be their problem. On those threads were there not posts saying they had done this before and had to give people the stuff as ordered.
Luckily my orders didn't go through and I was too suspicious to try again after the warnings about bills in January.
Twiddling thumbs waiting for courier and hope mamu arrives before school run.
Jeremy Vine just covered the Maclaren thing and 7 people have contacted the BBC to say their dc had bits cut off by them.

janx · 11/11/2009 14:14

Hello lovely ladies - just popping on for aquick question - looking for a footmuff for my lovely new to me xlr - it is choc brown and need it for big boy nearly 2 - thanks

FlyMeToDunoon · 11/11/2009 14:14

ooooh tchibo one is bargainous. Looks good. How much is delivery?
Lecohen's pink Kaiser arrived this morning but I am not sure it will be long enough. Waiting to try it in the Mamu......

BexieID · 11/11/2009 14:19

Lunchtime check-in, Toms nursery photos are today. He refused to wear the top I wanted him to wear, so he's worn his nursery sweater instead. And that's only because it's red and he thought it was his Postman Pat top, lol. Will be interesting to hear how much of a horror he was getting the photos done! At least he'll have a nursery photo with the nursery sweater on. Next year, i'll prob get a photo of him and bubs together instead.

FlyMeToDunoon · 11/11/2009 14:21

Dis that bag has some bad reviews. Otherwise I would be tempted at that price

nicolamumof3 · 11/11/2009 14:25

luka had some lovely photos done at nursery they just shoot them whilst they are playing we had them of tate last year too, all black and white lovely.

nicolamumof3 · 11/11/2009 14:29

Has anyone ever done a swap on ebay? I really wouldn't i don't feel comfortable, but im interested in a black xlr on ebay and have got chatting to seller, she is interested in swapping for my black xt. i just don't know whether i should stick to what i've got or whether the xlr would be better for luka as he's now 2.3yr?

janx · 11/11/2009 14:32

Anyone?
Wish that Tchibo was in other colours

BexieID · 11/11/2009 14:32

lol @ shoot them whilst they are playing!

Hehe. There will be one with his finger up his nose no doubt. I was kinda hoping for a more traditional style one, but the photographer is a arty-farty type, lol. As in white backgrounds.

I really should do my own anyway. I had planned on starting a mobile photography business part time when Tom starts school, but will have to wait even longer now!

nicolamumof3 · 11/11/2009 14:35

janx theres a lovely bn choc kaiser on ebay? that would be nice?

im finding my maclaren footmuff drags on wheels so i'd be worried using anything longer tbh? he will fit in maclaren footmuff as my luka does, or no scrap that i just remembered your luka is quite tall isn't he?

janx · 11/11/2009 14:47

sorry Nicola - am confused - are you saying the kaiser is longer than the maclaren one? I have an alvi, but its navy and I keep if for the mb. Are the mac universal ones longer than the other ones. Will measure Luka tonight - thanks

FlyMeToDunoon · 11/11/2009 14:49

When they do the individual photos at DD's nursery the parent goes into the room with the child, the photographer does some shots and then you can choose there and then which one you want, and extra ones too, on the computer. Its great and means you can get exactly the pose you want [if DDs cooperating of course]

FlyMeToDunoon · 11/11/2009 15:17

sheepskin gloves
lovely fingerless ones

pebbles79 · 11/11/2009 16:22

Nicola, I've put my Pupabag on the Maclaren and it seems fine but haven't had it out yet.

Dunoon, if you're not keeping the Kaiser can I have dibs on it please?

maxybrown · 11/11/2009 16:25

Ooh Nicola, an XLR!!! Not sure about the swap, difficult one that isn't it? Will she send you lots more pics perhaps closer up?? If I had the box for mine I'd let you have a borrow of mine for a few days but bit of a pain without the box isn't it.

Jan you have more height with XLR anyway so things prob won't drag on floor.

Toddler group was good....well for DS anyway!! but that is why I'm going!! Lots of children this week and nice people who run it, but it seems basically everyone had gone in pairs, so more or less it was just me on my own not that I'm bothered, I still find it difficult to seperate the being a mummy to it being my job......

Diva - do we really? i must have been asleep writing your address out, I do not even remember it, off to have another look now but would love to meeet up....that is if you meant it of course
