According to the tracking info my Mamu has arrived at wrexham depot, left it, been in transit, arrived at the depot, been in transit again, left the depot, been in transit and arrived uh back at the depot.Weird.
I was hoping it might be at Maidstone and be out for delivery tomorrow.

pebbles79 · 10/11/2009 20:19

I've just got the tracking for my XT, being delivered by DHL so I'm crossing my fingers that it's here tomorrow .

nicolamumof3 · 10/11/2009 20:29

awww basl don't be so hard on yourself hunnie if this is your thing then don't justify. seriously i've only just stopped being so bad after 2 years solid buying/selling. it has driven dh up the wall. But i think he does sort of understand it is my only indulgence recently i have started to get more into myself had my hair cut different started buying nice things for me and starting to think more about the house and social life etc which is totally unlike me since having DS2 and 3. I've always adored prams had a few for ds1, DS2 only ever had a maclaren ryder til he was 18m and luka arrived and the doubles began i went through so many and so started to obsess about them and then really wanted a luna i remember that so clearly it was the first single i'd bought for luka, and dh said i could have it if i paid for it, so i did, i started to sell stuff for the first time, and raise my own pennies the rest is history!!

nicolamumof3 · 10/11/2009 20:29

pebbles where did you get xt from? how exciting for you both new prams tomorrow!!!

FlyMeToDunoon · 10/11/2009 20:33

Doesn't look like mine will come tomorrow.

However it will come sometime.

pebbles79 · 10/11/2009 20:40

pebbles79 · 10/11/2009 20:43

No I don't think it was reduced but got it for £174 which is what I expected to pay anyway.

Divatheshopaholic · 10/11/2009 21:15

5inthebed · 10/11/2009 21:19

janx · 10/11/2009 21:19

I say having a benny....isn't from benny in crossroads? - I am a Londoner, but with Irish parents

pebbles79 · 10/11/2009 21:23

It was £195 in John Lewis and I just done all the kids Christmas present shopping from toys r us but they didn't have it in stock .

carrielou2007 · 10/11/2009 21:31

Evening all .

I thought that was from Benny from Crossroads I remember that saying (showing my age) and I'm from Somerset

Sold the volo to someone who only lives 30 miles away but they want it couriered not to collect - bit odd...

Going to buy a sheepskin now with the pennies to keep splodge cosy on all our upcoming walks.

I love buggies (and am in great company!!)

nicolamumof3 · 10/11/2009 21:41

30miles is a long way tho carrielou? would maybe cost the same in petrol not that i would know, i don't drive

basl · 10/11/2009 21:47

oh i have laughed at what a reaction my dd has caused with her benny comment. I really don't know what it means. I must ask her grandad.flyme I live in Rosyth so near your parents in burtisland what a small world. Nic it is nice to here things get a bit better i have been letting myself go abit and never finding time to get new hairdo and the house has gone to pot these days running around at last min before going out to work at night. I measured the wheels and i must be thick. From top of one wheel to the other it was 65 and then i thougt oh i will measure on the floor from one wheel to the other and then it was 62??? So i looked up the dimensions for both and it does look like the bjce is wider. I started reading reviews again and got me loving it again. Crazy lady that i am i read a review that someone just takes the wheel off before leaving the front door. I never forgot my dh comments when i suggested that one day after it's arrival. I think he had one of those benny thingys. Thanks again ladies i do love reading this thread and i so don't want to get started on clothes i so love love buying clothes for my kids but not so for the my ds i had hundreds of shoes and unworn stuff for my little girl at one point but not so bad now.

carrielou2007 · 10/11/2009 21:57

30 miles but easy journey so not far at all but they asked to collect then wanted it couriered...they've paid so they can chose what they like I guess!!

Basl my dd has so many clothes, a local lady buys them all from me and she had 4 bin liners full on sat and so many things with labels still on yet I have my same favourite pair of jeans that fit me so well I bought about 5 years ago from Next

FlyMeToDunoon · 10/11/2009 22:00

Which reminds me, Tom looks so cool on that pic on facebook Nicola.
My DDs don't look cool because they tend to dress in what they choose. They tend to look eccentric!
Sigh.
Well DD2 does like to be 'matching' so if the vest top is pink then the knee high socks and shorts dungarees will be too.

nicolamumof3 · 10/11/2009 22:04

thanks dunoon, i love it, my brother had a friend who started a childrens model agency so tom got some lovely pics taken, was nearly 3yr ago now i think. Came across them by chance.

maxybrown · 10/11/2009 22:10

welll it has it's own wikipedia page lol

basl · 10/11/2009 22:11

carrielou what does that lucky lady do with the clothes? Does she ebay or does her children get them

FlyMeToDunoon · 10/11/2009 22:12

'Parts of England'!
Oh well I guess I thought it was Scottish but obviously it is British

FlyMeToDunoon · 10/11/2009 22:16

Ha ha Basl. I wish
Mine just look a bit mad, cute sometimes.
Hmmm perhaps we are 'artistic' lol

5inthebed · 10/11/2009 22:42

Nicola, Spitfire trail.

Divatheshopaholic · 10/11/2009 23:06
